Story
Brandy is a 1.5âyearâold, 31âlb female Basset mix with a striking silky blackâandâtan coat and an affectionate, peopleâoriented nature. She is a social dog who gets along well with both cats and other dogs, making her a suitable candidate for multiâpet households. Brandy has a naturally enthusiastic and bouncy temperament, and her energy level makes her best suited for families with older children who can appreciate her playful spirit. She is extremely snuggly, has little sense of personal space, and prefers to stay close to her people at all times. Brandy is known for her deep hound bark and expressive “grumble talk,” which she uses to communicate excitement or seek attention. She loves giving kisses and thrives on affection and companionship. Brandy is currently padâtrained indoors and continuing to work on her overall pottyâtraining skills. She enjoys toys, playtime, and activities that allow her to be silly and interactive. She strongly prefers sleeping in bed with her people rather than in a kennel, and adopters should be comfortable with a closeâcontact companion. Brandy is a loving, spirited young dog who will make a devoted and joyful addition to the right home. She is eager to continue her training, share her affectionate nature, and become a cherished member of a family who appreciates her playful energy and desire for closeness.
