With her stunning reddish and black coat, bright amber eyes, and joyful spirit, she looks very much like a Harrier/German Shepherd mix. What that really means? Brains, beauty, loyalty, and just the right dash of playful sass. Cindy Lou is sweet, affectionate, playful, and delightfully goofy — the total package. She adores her people (big and small), though she’s still mastering the fine art of containing her enthusiasm when love is involved. Because she’s young and energetic, a home with older kids would be ideal — especially the kind who want a backyard buddy to chase, run, and burn off zoomies with. And speaking of zoomies… Cindy Lou absolutely loves Glacier and would thrive with a canine sibling. I sleep through most of the night in my kennel. I’m really good at kennel practice too! I pee or poop every time I go outside, but I still have accidents inside. Hi, my name is Fir and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Fir is a sweetheart ! He loves to be in his bed by your heels, or he likes to be on your lap! Like most puppies, he can be a sleepy boy! He is listed as a Basset Hound mix, but his legs are not very short. He is definitely is a hound, though. At home, he is really pretty quiet. But when he knows food is coming, or he is nervous (sitting in the vet lobby), he can be loud. It isn’t a bark, but more of a howl. We are working on this, for example, no food until he quiets. Potty training is great on warmer days, and sketchy on bitter cold days! It is his Arkansas blood! Fir is not a fan of his crate. But he has done amazingly well with his bed, and toys in a shut off room! No behavior problems or accidents.
