Hi, I’m Pancho! I’m a silly, sweet boy who loves spending time with people and other dogs. I enjoy nature walks at a good pace, belly rubs, car rides, and soaking up the sun during my naps. I also like having quiet time in my doggie bed. I love attention and affection, but not in a clingy way. Even though I look like a cuddler, too much physical affection too quickly can overwhelm me. I do best when my humans let me approach first to show I’m ready for cuddles. Life has brought me some big changes recently, and sometimes I feel stressed. I may ask for attention in ways that aren’t ideal, but I never mean harm. With guidance, I’m learning to express myself without nipping and to feel calm and secure. I’ll thrive in a calm home with patient, experienced people who can give me gentle structure and continued training. Please don’t be discouraged by what I’m still learning — what I offer in return is love, loyalty, and a truly special bond. I can’t wait to meet you! Story

Rose is a sweet 9 yr old Havanese Shih Tzu mix. Her previous family used this pretty girl to make puppies for extra cash. When her owner died, she eventually ended up living in a mechanic shop! When we found out about their situation, we immediately sent a volunteer to go and rescue them. Rose is with Rufus, who is possibly her son. Both dogs are very sweet, well behaved and affectionate. Both Rose and Rufus are friendly, and get along well with new people, other dogs and children. Rufus is about 3 yrs old, very sweet, loving and mellow. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids. We had him examined by our vet, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Rose is loving senior, about 9 yrs old, and is possibly Rufus' mother. Rose is a Havanese/ Shih Tzu mix. She is healthy, and we have had her spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Rose gets along well with other dogs and children, but is very interested in cats, so should go to a home that is cat free. Rose has some previously untreated skin issues, but is otherwise healthy. Both dogs are small, well behaved and extremely loving. They are easy going and don't have any destructive habits like digging, barking or chewing. They are content to just be around someone. They grew up as part of a family and will easily fit into any home. They are low energy and would be perfect for a retired person or someone who works from home. We're looking for an foster or adopter in the Southern California area. Because of this, Jazzy will come with trainer support to help ensure a smooth transition into his forever home. Amelia was found as a stray and ended up at the Moreno Valley Shelter while pregnant. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan stepped in and pulled her from the shelter, giving her a safe place to deliver and raise her puppies. Amelia has been a wonderful, devoted mama, and now that her pups are growing up, it’s finally her turn to find a loving home of her own. Amelia is a very shy girl at first, but once she feels safe, her personality blossoms. She shows her happiness with joyful zoomies, tail wags, and a silly, playful spirit. She especially enjoys exploring the garden and taking in her surroundings. Amelia is truly stunning with her long, silky coat. We DNA tested her puppies and found Poodle and Havanese to be the top breeds, so we suspect Amelia shares a similar mix. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home and would thrive in a calm, patient household. Her ideal home would have a secure yard and minimal coming and going, giving her the space and time to settle in comfortably. With a little patience, Amelia will bond deeply—we promise it won’t take long. Amelia is 2 years old and weighs 13 lbs. She’s ready to leave her mama duties behind and start the next chapter of her life as someone’s beloved companion.
