Story
Otis is my absolute best friend in the whole world and I want nothing but the best for him which is ultimately what has led me to this decision. He was rescued at about 5 months old as a stray, so we really don’t know his exact age, and we weren’t sure his breed. He bonded to me immediately and I took him home that day. Since having him, we have come to learn he is a German shepherd husky mix, which explains his energy. He is the sweetest most loving guy, but he does resource guard me, he is extremely protective of me. Because of this he doesn’t get out much, I also have a very small backyard, and I work 40-50 hours a week, so his current quality of life is just not great. He goes to daycare a few times a week and he loves it, but he needs more than just that. The thought of losing him breaks my heart in a million pieces, but I know that there is someone out there with a lifestyle that is more suited to his needs, where he can play and run as much as his heart desires.

Story
Lzzy is a young, playful puppy. She is learning her leash rules and, of course, loves to do her zoomies. Kennel training is in the works, and she is doing quite well adapting. Toys are her specialty all day long. She would do best in a home environment where she can get the attention she needs and be part of a strong pack leader. Please no Condos (unless there is a private yard) and no apartments. We don't know how she would react to cats. At a young age, it may be okay.

Story
Meet Mika! A sassy but mellow 7-year-old husky girl looking for her best friend. She loves to watch TV, she'll even "talk" to you husky style. Mika loves going on walks and playing in the yard, learning to play fetch too. Mika is fully crate trained (as if it were her castle) and riding in the car is a breeze. If you're looking for a first-time husky or just a partner to snuggle with Mika is your girl. Mika would make a great companion as an only dog Due to a Husky's high prey drive, we don not recommend small children and no cats. Please no apartments or condos.

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Rescue** Meet Margarita! Margarita is a beautiful young female Shepherd/Husky mix, adoptable in Phx., Az. She is estimated at three-years-old, and currently weighs 47-pounds. Margarita was found as a stray running around a Garcia's restaurant; smart girl knew where the good food was! Margarita was taken into rescue and no owner came forward to claim her. Margarita is a gorgeous dog with a great personality. Check out that pretty patched coat and glacier-blue eye!  Margarita is a social gal, with both people and other dogs. She enjoys play-wrestling with her dog pals as well as chasing the ball or squeaky toy. Margarita is happy to take a pause from play-time and enjoy some pets and cuddles with her human friends. Belly rubs are a favorite! Margarita knows "sit" and walks well on leash. She would love to learn more tricks and training in her forever home. Margarita is a smart and active young dog, who will need lots of exercise to keep her mentally and physically happy. True to her Husky nature, she is a bit of an escape artist and can find her way out of (or over!) her kennel. Margarita will require a secure backyard with at least a six-foot block fence. Have you been looking for a spicy and sweet dog who will keep you active? Look no further! Come meet Margarita! Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info/meet and greet appointment. Margarita's adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies certificate, and microchip.August 23, 2026, 9:30 pm
