Story
DOB: 9/20/2023 Breed: Siberian Husky-Spayed female 41lbs-Microchipped & fully vaccinated-Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventative*Adoption Fee $400*A little bit about me… Hi new friends! The universe has granted me the name Moonshine. As you can see, I’m a stunning husky with crystal blue eyes that are sure to captivate your heart! Despite what you might think about Huskies, I’ve shown myself to be pretty quiet. I’m a total goofball who loves to entertain and make you smile with my playful antics. Whether I’m zooming around or rolling on the floor, I promise I’ll keep you laughing! I absolutely love meeting new dogs and can’t wait to play, though I do not understand the concept of personal space, and most dogs get annoyed with me very easily. I’m still working on my leash manners, so sometimes I swirl around and jump up on you, but I’m learning every day. I’m a total sweetheart who craves attention with tail wags and playful nudges. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and entertaining dog, I’d love to meet you!The highlights…-Too much for young children. 16+ is preferred-No cats -No small animals-Very stubbornMy ideal home would include…-Knowledge in my breed. Huskies are known for being escape artists due to their intelligence and strong prey drive. A secure high fence is a must to prevent escaping-A lot of action! I need daily runs, playtime, and mental stimulation to avoid boredom and destructive behavior-Patience on my training journey. I have a tendency to be independent and stubborn, so consistency and positive reinforcement are key

Story
Courtesy Post: Meet Thor The Goofy, Gentle Husky/Lab Mix With a Heart Full of Love Thor is the definition of a lovable goofball—a sweet, soulful Husky/Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At 3 years old, he’s house-trained, knows his basic commands, walks beautifully on leash, and lives to make his people smile. Affectionately known as “Goobee” (short for “good boy”), Thor is endlessly charming and full of quirks that’ll steal your heart. He’ll bark to remind you when it’s time for an adventure, loves a solid couch snuggle, and always manages to find the sunniest spot in the yard for a nap. He’s a great mix of affectionate and independent: all about cuddles—but also happy in his own space when it’s time to unwind. Thor does great in doggy daycare and enjoys the company of calm, well-mannered dogs. He prefers polite canine friends and does best with mellow dogs who match his vibe—think older or senior pups. Hyper or jumpy dogs can make him uneasy, and he may give a gentle correction if boundaries are crossed. He adores his people, but small kids can startle him—so he needs a home without young children. Like many herding breeds, he’s sensitive to fast movements and noise. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment with adults or older teens who respect his space and love him for who he is. While he's not a swimmer, he’s all in for car rides, walks, hikes, and the occasional backyard zoomies. And in classic Husky fashion, if you ask him to move—just ask again (politely). Health-wise, Thor is up to date on all vaccines and bloodwork. He’s currently on affordable daily medication for Valley Fever (about $35/month with GoodRx—CVS is usually the cheapest). He’ll need simple follow-up bloodwork every six months to stay on track. Thor’s current family loves him dearly, but life changes mean they can no longer give him the environment he needs. They’re committed to finding him a home that will adore him, quirks and all. If you're looking for a loyal, silly, affectionate best friend who will always be happy to see you—Thor is your guy!

Story
Meet Nova 🐾 Nova has been a part of my life for 12 wonderful years. She’s a spunky, fun-loving senior—at 14 years old, you’d never guess her age by the way she moves and loves life. Following my divorce, my ex-husband was awarded custody of Nova and her companion. Sadly, just a week ago, I received two separate calls from Animal Control: both dogs had been found alone, in poor condition, and in completely different locations. Because their microchips are registered to me, I was contacted directly. When I reached out to my ex, he made it clear he no longer wants the dogs. My heart is broken, but with three dogs already at home (one of whom is reactive), I can’t give Nova the peaceful, loving environment she deserves. I’m now looking for a kind and caring home where Nova can enjoy her golden years with the love and comfort she’s always given others. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to meet her 💕
