I am Kaia and here is some info you need to know about me: Breed: Husky Age: 3.5 years old  Gender: male Height: 56 cm Weight: 52 pounds Highlights: loving, sweet, resilient, loyal I am a sweet, gentle Siberian Husky with soft, beautiful eyes, a kind soul, and a heart full of hope. I’ve been dreaming about a second chance at life. A real home. A real family. Could it be you? My early life was tough — tougher than most dogs should ever have to endure. For the first several months of my life, I was tied to a short leash under a small table, left outside day and night in the blazing heat. I was just a puppy, trying to survive. When I was finally rescued at around 7 or 8 months old in the Middle East, I was taken to a kennel… but sadly, the conditions there were far from ideal too. I’ve been there for almost 2 years now. Still, I’ve stayed gentle. Still, I believe in love. And now I’m ready to leave the past behind and start fresh — hopefully in beautiful Vancouver, where I can run, play, and finally know what it feels like to belong. I walk well on a leash, I love car rides (seriously, take me anywhere), and I’m great with people and kids. I get along well with other dogs, and I’m not food aggressive at all. I’m crate-trained and currently living in a small kennel, but if I’m let out regularly, I do my business outside like a gentleman. I even love my crate — it’s my safe space. I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure how I’d do with them, but I’m a smart boy and open to learning. I’ve also developed a small allergy to dust in my current kennel, but otherwise I’m in great health and ready to go. All I want is someone to see me, to give me a chance. I promise I’ll be your loyal shadow, your reason to smile, your best friend through everything.
