Mushy is a small husky, @40 lbs, white and gray. @4 years old. He came from a shelter. He is friendly to people but can be a bit shy. In the last few months Mushy has improved a lot. He would make a great playmate. Walks great on the leash. Mushy loves water. He loves other dogs, in fact Mushy has a new best friend named Willie Nelson at our rescue, he is a small Shepherd mix about the same size as Mushy. He has friends at our Rescue, such as husky boy Lobo. Neutered and has his shots. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. Lobo is a white and gray husky boy with blue eyes, 3 years old. Friendly and loving, likes kids and big dogs. Well behaved. Rascal, also called Poseidon, is a 3 year old Siberian husky, red and white, blue-eyed. 60 lbs. House trained, leash trained, good with kids. Rascal is a friendly, loving boy whose joy is playing - especially in water! When he is in our play yards, he is curious and playful. He was at our rescue before (after being saved from a home where he was mistreated) and was adopted. He was returned after a year and a half because of a divorce. He seems dog friendly. His owner was sad to see him go and said he was well behaved. If you like Miss Piggy from the Muppets, you'll love Oso. Oso likes to voice his opinion through the voice of Miss Piggy, and doesn't mind doing the Miss Piggy pout either. To anyone who is going to see this, you'll laugh for the rest of your life. Oso is a Male, Wholly Husky. Oso started off as my sister's dog, and than was given over to me. He's been with me for about nine years. He's such a sweet dog, one time I fell over and couldn't get up for a while and Oso sat by my side the entire time. Together we've been through walks, fireworks, dog attacks, and gardening, Oso loves the smell of fresh tilled soil. To properly describe Oso I'd say, intelligent, confident, outgoing, and mischievous. In short Oso cares, he'll always check-up on you, on walks and parks, he a lots of energy mingling with other dogs his size. This friendly boy can join a home with kids and adults alike. Oso has a strong prey drive which means he has too much energy for smaller dogs but loves playing with big dogs

During his walk Kipper pulled on the leash as he showed multiple play bows and wanted to run with the handler. The officer who picked him up said that Kipper was more than willing to get into the truck and be picked up with ease, and he came running up to them looking for attention. Additionally, Kipper gave the handler tons of kisses and took treats gently. This behavior observation was performed by staff in the shelter setting.
