Story
He loves chasing balls, going on runs and chewing on bones. He’s a little afraid of water but when leashed and reassured he’s good with his hose baths. His name is Leonidas but responds to Leo. Can’t have him at my apartment anymore, also he’s an outside dog. I trained him to walk with and without a leash but don’t know how he’ll respond to a new owner. Just want to find him a good home.

Story
Hello I have had ivy since she was a puppy, she is 8 years old and unfortunately we lost our house and had to move into a small apartment. Ivy is not adjusting well and I know she misses having her backyard. Ivy is very loving and loyal. She takes a while to warm up to other dogs but she eventually does. She’s good with kids and seniors. She is house trained and does good on walks. I want her to enjoy her years having her space and with a loving family. I promise you ivy will be a good addition to your home ❤️

Akira IS AVAILALBE (updated 04-28-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Akira, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=21954&name=AkiraAkira is a 7-year-old female Husky/Malamute mix who weighs around 65 pounds. She is a sweet and loving companion who likes to snuggle and play, is friendly to everyone (except cats), and plays great with other dogs when at daycare/boarding. She is great with kids, very patient and gentle with the two toddler boys in the home, and loves to act as a vacuum for them at meal time.Akira is housebroken, and currently sleeps freely on doggy beds inside the home, but is crate trained. She loves to take walks and play, but does know how to turn off that Husky energy. Akira knows basic commands and takes to learning new thing quickly, especially when treats are involved. No howling, though she will let you know when she wants something, which are usually pets and snuggles. She is an absolute sweetheart and would benefit from an active family with lots of love and attention to give. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.April 28, 2024, 6:13 am

For more information and the adoption application for Delilah, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22699&name=DelilahMeet Delilah, a one-year old Husky who was rescued out of a shelter when her time was running out. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s on the small side for a husky but make no mistake, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s your typical young, super-energetic, rough and tumble husky. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s in a foster home with multiple dogs and is doing great. She is learning her manners but in usual Husky fashion she forgets them more often than not. She would do best with an active family and another high energy dog to play with.
