Sugar is a 6 year old female husky who is indeed.... "a little husky" Sugar was "rescued" by an organization called Delaneys Dog in June 2022 aling with "Honey" the shepherd mix. They were from Animal Friends of the Valley Shelter. In October 2022, delaneys dog reacue re-dumped the 2 dogs at a boarding facility in the high desert area, they left them there and never came back or paid their bill. The owner of the boarding facility recently passed and these dogs were in danger of re-entering the shelter system, but we stepped up and brought them into our care. Sugar is just about the sweetest dog I've ever met. I can definitely see how she got her name, which was given to her by valley shelter staff back in 2022. She is spayed and gets along with every dog she's ever met. She chases chickens, and cats, but is obese and can't really go far or fast. She is now potty trained, she likes belly rubs and she knows how to sit, and shake. She's leash trained but still pulls with joy and excitement, so that needs a little work. She adores every person she meets. This dog will be such a blessing to a family, and they will bless her. Great house dog. Very quiet, only husky I've met that doesn't vocalize at all. Adoption fee is $250
