Story
How this pet arrived:Bronco was brought in by a Good Samaritan on April 19, 2023. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Bronco, a charming canine companion ready to bring joy and adventure into your life! Initially reserved, Bronco blossoms into a much more confident friend once he feels secure in his environment. He relishes gentle petting and attention but values his personal space, so big hugs are a no-go. Bronco is a lively and outdoorsy pup, thriving on long walks where he can indulge in his favorite pastime - sniffing out new scents. Car rides, fetching games, water play, and spirited runs are also among his cherished activities. Despite his confidence during outings, Bronco seeks a serene home environment, free from the company of other dogs or young children who might overwhelm him. If you're seeking a fun and active companion who appreciates a balance of social interaction and independent exploration, Bronco could be your perfect match! Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Sadie, contact Patricia below.. Sadie is a beautiful 7 year old Alaskan Husky in search of a forever home. Her previous owner recently passed away, leaving her as an orphan. Sadie was raised by an elderly woman and seems to take to women easier than men. She loves to play fetch and tug a war with her toys. Sadie walks well on or off a leash and stays close to her handler. Sadie also responds well to voice and hand commands. Sadie uses Piddle Pads for night time if not taken out to use the restroom before bed. Sadie has been known to bark at outside noises but will quiet down once she recognizes the sound. We believe Sadie would do best in a single person or family home for anyone who is looking for companionship. She loves to sleep at the side of your bed, on the floor and will spend endless hours following you around the house if you let her. If interested in providing Sadie a safe place to call home. Please reach out to Patricia Smith at (760)757-3308 and she would love for you to meet her! Re-homing fee: $100

CALL FOR DETAILSLobita is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested in adopting her, please call us at 619-299-7012.How this pet arrived: Lobita was brought in by her previous owner on February 24, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Introducing Lobita, the enchanting beauty with zest for life! This regal canine is on the lookout for her kingdom, where she can reign supreme and bask in endless fun and adventure. Lobita is not just any ordinary dog; she's a majestic queen who knows her worth and seeks a palace where she can be the center of attention. While Lobita is friendly and affectionate, she does have one small quirk - she prefers not to share her kingdom with other canines. As such, a home where she can dine without competition and without another dog in the home would suit her best. So, if you're ready to welcome this queen into your castle and embark on a lifetime of adventures, then Lobita is the perfect match for you! Bring a leash and collar when you come to adopt her today. Story
How this pet arrived: Kiwi was brought in by a community member on February 10, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you: Kiwi is an extrovert. A grab the bull by the horns, lets go and live life to the fullest kind of gal. That doesn't mean she doesn't have her quiet reflective moments where she can be quite cuddly, but she is definitely more into the run, jump, play type of life. Kiwi would do great with someone who wants to harness this enthusiasm and wants to teach her new things. Her zest for life can be a bit too much for younger children so the older the better. Kiwi will want to be doing things so her new family should be ready for outings, play time, and plenty of puzzles and toys. Are you as optimistic and fun loving as this fluffy girl? Come in and ask about adopting her today!Excitable Dog: Kiwi requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. He is a Siberian Husky (per his DNA test), approx. 2 years young, weighs 51lbs.  Here’s what Everest’s foster family has to say about him:  -Dog-friendly, likes having a confident dog to look up to. He would love to have a furry brother or sister!-Medium energy, enjoys hikes & walks in quiet areas, but also enjoys couch cuddles.-Calm & relaxed in the car. Give him a safe place to retreat to if visitors come over2. Take him to public places on off-peak days/hrs to desensitize & socialize him3.  Take longer walks early in the morning & at night when it’s quieter Apply to adopt Everest & watch how he blossoms with your love! Story
How this pet arrived: Mufasa was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on November 15, 2023. Why this pet is the one for you: Introducing Mufasa, a majestic boy in search of a new place to call home. Mufasa can be a bit conflicted when meeting new people but he has made a set of friends in the shelter who can brush him and handle him! It takes time for new people to get to this level, so he's looking for a patient and understanding adult home with low traffic where he can decompress at his own pace. Once he is comfortable, this boy can be quite the goof ball! Mufasa loves to chase small critters and finds it his duty to walk the perimeter and scan for intruding wildlife. Familiarity with the Chow Chow breed is a must for his new owners, as these dogs have unique characteristics. If you have experience with Chows and are ready to provide a calm and stable environment, Mufasa could be the loyal companion you've been looking for. If there's a resident dog, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure compatibility. Bring the whole family in to meet Mufasa and bring a leash and a martingale collar (or purchase one when you arrive), to take him home! Be a part of his journey to a new beginning and enjoy the rewarding experience of having this regal pup by your side! Primary Color: Brown Weight: 51.4 Age: 3yrs 5mths 1wks
