Spencer! This pup would have quite the story to tell if he could talk. Surrendered to us from a neglectful situation, we had no idea what exactly was wrong with his health but we knew he needed help. At 4 years old, despite his past, Spencer is a loving and affectionate dog. He loves all people and animals. Great on a leash. Wonderful in public settings. Spencer does have to navigate through some health challenges due to past neglect. We continue to have issues with his kidney levels- he needs to be on a low phosphorus diet. Because of this he hasn't been able to be neutered. He also has trouble holding his bladder and bowel movements, and he does have accidents inside occasionally. A yard would be ideal for Spencer. He was previously living in a crate in his own messes, so he is not able to be crated while you are gone. We have seen a couple specialists, tested for so many things, and so far, there are little answers. We don't know what Spencer's future looks like. What we do know is he deserves a chance at finding a forever loving home. Spencer is eligible for our Forever Foster Program. As a forever foster, Spencer would be your pet. You cover all his day to day needs. Preapproved medical needs will be continued to be covered by rescue for the remainder of his life at our vet partners. He is being fostered in Kissimmee. His adoption fee is $400

Hi, I’m Sky Blue! I am a 10-year-old Siberian Husky Yes, I know… the blue eyes are pretty impressive. But I promise, my personality is even better. I’m a sweet, loyal, easygoing guy who loves being close to my people. I’ll happily follow you around the house, lean against you for affection, and settle at your feet just to make sure you’re never too far away. I do great with other dogs and currently have a foster sister. We’re buddies, but we also understand the importance of personal space. Very mature of us. I’m housebroken, crate trained, trustworthy in the house, and always ready for a car ride. I also love spending time outside in a fenced yard, especially if there are deer around for me to supervise. I can be a little picky about food and a little opinionated when I want something. What can I say? I’m a Husky. At 10 years young, I’m not looking for anything complicated. I just want a comfy bed, a safe home, someone to follow around, and a person who won’t mind having a handsome shadow by their side. I still have plenty of love, laughs, and Husky conversations left in me. Maybe you’re the person who gets to say, “You’re home, Sky.”

¡Hola! Hi! My name is Nino, and at just 1 year old, I may be Husky Haven’s first bilingual Husky! I learned Spanish from my previous family, and now my foster dad is teaching me English. I’m pretty sure that makes me extra smart. But enough about my résumé. Let me tell you what I’m really good at: cuddling, giving kisses, and being ridiculously lovable. I’m a sweet, gentle boy who absolutely loves being close to my people. If you’re looking for a best buddy who thinks snuggling is an important daily activity, we should probably talk. I’m still growing into myself, and apparently I have the cutest little waddle when I walk. Don’t let that fool you, though—when the zoomies hit, I can MOVE! I also love playing with toys and romping around with my foster brothers, so I’d be very happy to have a canine buddy to play with. Like any young Husky, I do have a creative side. If you forget to give me enough appropriate toys—or leave your shoes where I can find them—I may decide that you thoughtfully left me a new one. Hey, I’m only one. I’m still learning! I’m making good progress with my crate training, and my house manners are coming along nicely too. As long as my people keep me on a regular potty schedule, I do great. Mostly, though, my foster family says I have a wonderful, gentle and loving personality. I’m still young, so I have plenty to learn, but I have an awful lot of love to give while we figure it all out together. So...¿quieres ser mi familia? Want to be my family?

Hi! I’m Maxi, a beautiful 6.5-year-old white Husky with a gentle heart, a curious nature, and a few adorable quirks that make me pretty special. If you’re expecting the typical loud, high-energy Husky…well, I might surprise you! I’m a remarkably quiet, calm girl who is perfectly happy lounging on a dog bed or pillow and keeping you company. I have a particular fondness for cozy little spots—under a desk or even tucked into a closet. What can I say? I appreciate a good hideaway! I absolutely love belly rubs, and I’m happiest when you talk to me and remind me what a pretty girl I am. Compliments are always welcome around here. I’m also a dream on a leash. I don’t pull, I enjoy a nice leisurely stroll, and I especially appreciate humans who understand the importance of stopping occasionally so I can have a good roll in the grass. There’s no need to rush through the good stuff! I’m a fantastic traveler, too, and handle car rides like a pro. At home, I sleep in my foster parents’ room at night and have been completely non-destructive. They haven’t needed to crate me, so we don’t really know how I feel about crates yet. Now, about food. I have standards. A little kibble with A LOT of Parmesan cheese is much more to my liking. Cheese? Yes, please. Peanut butter? Absolutely. Counter surfing? Nope! My foster family has even tried to tempt me, and I remain a lady. I am still learning to take treats gently from your hand, though, and we’re working on “sit.” I’m great at meeting new people and greet them calmly. I can happily share my home with other dogs, but I’d also be perfectly content being your one and only. There is one little thing my future family should know about me: sometimes when I get really excited—or really relaxed—I can leak a little urine. It’s just one of those things that comes along with loving me, and my foster family can tell you more about managing it. I rarely bark or howl, but I do have one exception. When an ambulance or fire truck goes by with its siren on, I sometimes decide to join in and sing along. Apparently, it’s pretty adorable. I like to think I’m providing backup vocals. Underneath my beautiful white coat is one of the sweetest, gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. I don’t need constant excitement or adventure. Give me a soft place to land, some belly rubs, leisurely walks, kind words, and some special treats, and I’ll be a very happy girl. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will fill your home with quiet love, a little laughter, plenty of snuggles—and the occasional siren serenade—I might be your girl!

Hi, I'm Muffin! I'm an 8-month-old white Siberian Husky with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for life! I am on the smaller size. If there's a ball to chase, a yard to run around in, or another dog looking to play, you can count me in. I'm even learning how to play fetch, and I think I'm getting pretty good at it! I'm crate trained and doing great with potty training—I can already hold it for about six hours. I walk nicely on a leash, although sometimes I need a little encouragement to get started. Once I'm on my way, I'm happy to explore right by your side. I love everyone, including other dogs and cats. When new people come over, I get so excited that I sometimes forget my manners and jump up to say hello. I just can't help it—I love making new friends! With a little continued training, I'll be the perfect gentleman. I'm sweet, playful, and full of energy. I love car rides, outdoor adventures, and spending every minute I can making memories with my people. If you're looking for a best friend who will keep you smiling, keep you active, and love you with his whole heart, I think we might be the perfect match.
