Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Wynter, a sweet 1yo, 30lb husky mix. This gorgeous blue eyed girl came to us from Georgia, where she was found as a stray at a job site. She is very friendly with people and loves to play with other dogs. Her favorite pastimes are zooming in the yard with her buddies and chewing/squeaking toys. At nighttime she is content to lay on the couch next to her humans. She will even watch a little TV - her favorite show is currently Yellowstone. Wynter would be a lot of fun to do dog sports or obedience training with. She is higher energy and very smart. In two days she learned “sit," "stay" and “here.” She sleeps quietly through the night while crated, is house trained when taken outside regularly, and rides wonderfully in the car. Shes great with baths as well. Her ideal home would be active and have a fenced in yard. She would benefit from continued training and a consistent schedule. Being a young dog,she can be mouthy, so a home with no small children would be best. Other dogs in her home will need to be active as well or tolerant of a young, playful pup. Wynter is also cat friendly! Wynter is a herding breed, a very intelligent breed that not only needs daily physical activity, but also mental stimulation. We prefer someone for her who has herding breed experience. Hi, I’m Karmy, a 7-year-old red and white beauty with the cutest floppy ear you’ve ever seen! Life didn’t start out easy for me, but wow, things are looking up. I’m learning all about being a “house dog,” and let me tell you, couches are amazing (especially for my silly couch zoomies). I’m making great progress with potty training (I’ve got my schedule down!) and crates aren’t so scary anymore—I even eat my meals in mine like a pro. I’ll admit, I’m still working on longer stays, but I’m very food motivated, so training feels like snack time to me. On walks, I’m a total dream—unless, of course, I catch the scent of a critter, then I get a little excited. My vision isn’t the best, so sometimes I bump into things or need a little guidance, but a kind voice and gentle hand help me shine. Personality-wise? I’m a calm, quiet girl who saves her energy for cuddles, massages, and belly rubs (the good stuff). I’m not a barker or a woo-wooer, but who knows—maybe once I’m fully settled, I’ll surprise you with a little Husky song. I’m still figuring out this whole “play with other dogs” thing and haven’t met kids yet, but I’m open to learning with the right introductions. The truth is, what I really want is to be close to my people. If you sit on the couch, don’t be surprised if I climb right into your lap—I’m basically a pro snuggler. Hey there! I’m Lulu, a sweet, affectionate Siberian Husky mix, about 3 years old—and I’m basically a professional cuddler. If you sit down, chances are I’ll be right there too, resting my head in your lap and soaking up all the love. I’m incredibly gentle, calm, and just happy to be near my people. Despite my husky roots, I’m not much of a howler. Instead, I like to keep watch over my home and will bark to let you know if someone’s arrived (mail carriers beware!). I take my job as household protector seriously, but once everything’s accounted for, I’m right back to lounging and cuddling. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and am very socially savvy—I’ll happily initiate play when another dog is up for it, but I’m just as content to relax and give them space if they’re not in the mood. I’d do great in a home with another dog or as a beloved solo pup. I’m also a very polite housemate. I let my humans know when I need to go outside, and I’ve never had an accident indoors. I really try my best to be a good girl. One of my absolute favorite things in the world? Walks! The moment I see my leash, I do an adorable little happy dance. I’m never more joyful than when I’m out exploring with my people, sniffing everything and taking in the world. I walk well on a leash, though I might pull a bit if a squirrel or bunny crosses my path—I do have a strong prey drive and would probably do best in a cat-free home. When the day winds down, I’m all about quiet companionship—snuggling on the couch, lounging nearby, or curling up with my favorite humans.
