Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Kato is a kind, yet dominant and physically strong dog. He needs an adult only home with an owner who has Husky/alpha breed experience.Kato is a happy dog who loves to chew on bones! He enjoys spending time with his humans.  He loves to go on long walks. Kato loves running around and knows several commands such as sit and touch. He is a spunky boy who loves to play and be the center of attention. He is a working dog who would love a job of some kind. Kato does needs to be the only dog in the home because he is selective about the dogs he is around. Siberian Huskies are not a breed for 1st time dog owners.  They need a family who are experienced with Huskies and can maintain an alpha and kind position in the home. His new home requires a fenced-in backyard to run and play like a Husky should.Kato was a previous PRBJ dog who was returned after his owners stated they did not want him.  Kato was severely neglected coming in with all of his fur matted and dirty and unable to walk much due to the pulling of his fur.  The only thing we could do was take him in to have his fur completely shaved off.  In his pictures you can see how he looked when he was adopted out a few years ago with his full beautiful coat, then how he came in full of mats and then his new summer coat.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 16, 2024, 8:58 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Clover is the sweetest husky mix boy. He is 1 year old, weighs 30 lbs. and has tons of puppy energy. Clover is so loving and is obsessed with cuddling! He is good with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with large breed dogs and various-age foster cats. Understanding that he is still a puppy, he does better with the younger teenage playful kittens versus the older adults. The more outgoing the cat, the better the relationship he can have with them as it will limit the chasing. He does great around children as well. He is learning basic commands and responds well to treats training. Clover is housebroken and crate trained. Being that he is still young, providing him with ample puppy toys, and safe chew toys is a must. He loves flavored bones and squeaky toys, which he is very good about not shredding. He is great on a leash and in the car. We are requiring a secure minimum 6-ft. fenced-in yard for him. He will need supervision whenever he is outside - he gets bored easily, loves to explore and will try to find a way to escape. Clover is high energy, loves to play, and will thrive in a home with an active-lifestyle family who can include him in outdoor activities and will provide him with structure and enrichment toys. He will benefit from puppy classes as well. Another large playful dog in the home would help him with his socialization and need for play. Huskies are generally intelligent, loyal and loving companions, but they are not a breed that can be left alone all day. Overall, Clover is the best puppy and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and think you are a perfect match for Clover, please complete an app and tell us more about your family. September 15, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Jack and I’m a 7-year-old who’s sweeter than sweet. Have you ever seen a smile as wide as mine? And what about my flair for fashion? From a brightly patterned necktie to a boldly colored neckerchief, I ROCK them both! Happily at home in my foster home, I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. Easygoing, eager to please, and eager to LOVE, I may not be huge on snuggling, but I am big on kissing. I give my foster parents the best kisses ever. And, the surprise of surprises, I’m good with cats after the proper introductions are made! Brimful of puppylike spirit and spunk, I love, love, love PLAYING. I get along famously with other playful dogs while learning all about boundaries at the same time. I also love going for walks, walking wonderfully on a leash, and taking rides in the car in search of the next great adventure. Currently honing those puppylike manners, such as staying off counters, I know that with practice, I’ll be paws-itively perfect. I also know that I’ll reward you, my future forever family, with a lifetime of loyalty, loving, and … kisses! I am housebroken, not crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of my shots.

Story
Hi!! I'm Max and I am the bestest boy!! I am around 2 years old and have the most beautiful baby blue eyes! I love cuddles, kisses, snuggles, and everything! You can take my toy, you can take my food, I don't care as long as you're human. Another doggo, I can be a little bit possessive of my things. I am good on a leash but be careful of small things as I just gotta chase them!!! Ducks, cats, squirrels, you name it, I'm gonna chase it so maybe a home with bigger dogs like me would be best. I am working on not counter-surfing, although the things I find I like to chew. Chewing is one of my favorite things!! I am housebroken. I am not a fan of the crate, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on my shots. I just need my forever home and I'll be set!!

Story
Hi there! My name is Bear. I might not look like a husky, but my momma was one! I may not have her looks, but have you seen my smile? It's the bestest smile in the whole wide world! I'm just 5 months old, already crate trained, and doing pawsome with potty training. I'm great with other dogs and amazing with cats, too! I know so many commands like sit, stay, and lay down, which makes me super duper smart! I'm a little rough and kinda a rowdy goofball—I'm all beauty but no grace. (What even is grace anyway? Who needs it?) Maybe no small kids for me, just because I get super excited by funny noises. If you whistle or make popping sounds, I'll throw myself at you in full excitement mode! I'm super independent and love hanging out with my humans. But when we're inside, I turn into the best cuddle buddy ever! Please read the requirements on our website www.huskyhavenfl.org/adopt to ensure you meet puppy criteria. The adoption fee is $400, which includes: Vaccines & boosters (our vet) Microchip Fecal test Neuter Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag To apply Pay the $25 here on our website or via Facebook DONATE button Send a screenshot of the $25 payment to our email huskyhavenfl@gmail.com Only then we will process the application. Please know the $25 application fee is NOT a guarantee and it's NOT refundable. Thank you for your understanding. We charge an application fee for puppies because people do not read the post and the criteria in its entirety. So instead of getting 100s of unqualified apps which our volunteers take lots of time to process, this would reduce the amount of those that are not unqualified. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Hi, I’m 1-year-old Bruno and I don’t mean to boast … but I have the most beautiful baby blue eyes! Percolating with personality, sweet with a pinch of spice, I seldom stop smiling because I’m ALWAYS hap, hap, happy. Snuggly and cuddly, I put the “a” into affection, and I live to love and be loved. Just ask my fabulous foster parents and their children. I LOVE being wherever my family is because it’s so comfy and cozy and comforting. And I gratefully reward their attention by covering them in copious Bruno kisses, kisses, and even more kisses! Not surprisingly, my favorite part of the day is when I greet them in the morning. Thinking of all of the possibilities awaiting us makes me grin and my blue eyes shine. Agile and athletic, I thrive on staying active. And that means frisking and frolicking outside with my doggy foster friend whom I also love. An “honors” student, I’ve been honing my leash skills for the long walks I take, and I’ll make some lucky someone who loves to jog and to run the paw-fect partner. Ready, set, go! Are YOU ready and set to make me YOURS so that we can go, go, go together forever? I am housebroken, crate-trained, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all of my shots.
