Story
Hi, I’m Jack and I’m a 7-year-old who’s sweeter than sweet. Have you ever seen a smile as wide as mine? And what about my flair for fashion? From a brightly patterned necktie to a boldly colored neckerchief, I ROCK them both! Happily at home in my foster home, I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. Easygoing, eager to please, and eager to LOVE, I may not be huge on snuggling, but I am big on kissing. I give my foster parents the best kisses ever. And, the surprise of surprises, I’m good with cats after the proper introductions are made! Brimful of puppylike spirit and spunk, I love, love, love PLAYING. I get along famously with other playful dogs while learning all about boundaries at the same time. I also love going for walks, walking wonderfully on a leash, and taking rides in the car in search of the next great adventure. Currently honing those puppylike manners, such as staying off counters, I know that with practice, I’ll be paws-itively perfect. I also know that I’ll reward you, my future forever family, with a lifetime of loyalty, loving, and … kisses! I am housebroken, not crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of my shots.

Hi!! I'm Max and I am the bestest boy!! I am around 2 years old and have the most beautiful baby blue eyes! I love cuddles, kisses, snuggles, and everything! You can take my toy, you can take my food, I don't care as long as you're human. Another doggo, I can be a little bit possessive of my things. I am good on a leash but be careful of small things as I just gotta chase them!!! Ducks, cats, squirrels, you name it, I'm gonna chase it so maybe a home with bigger dogs like me would be best. I am working on not counter-surfing, although the things I find I like to chew. Chewing is one of my favorite things!! I am housebroken. I am not a fan of the crate, microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on my shots. I just need my forever home and I'll be set!!

Story
Hi there! My name is Bear. I might not look like a husky, but my momma was one! I may not have her looks, but have you seen my smile? It's the bestest smile in the whole wide world! I'm just 5 months old, already crate trained, and doing pawsome with potty training. I'm great with other dogs and amazing with cats, too! I know so many commands like sit, stay, and lay down, which makes me super duper smart! I'm a little rough and kinda a rowdy goofball—I'm all beauty but no grace. (What even is grace anyway? Who needs it?) Maybe no small kids for me, just because I get super excited by funny noises. If you whistle or make popping sounds, I'll throw myself at you in full excitement mode! I'm super independent and love hanging out with my humans. But when we're inside, I turn into the best cuddle buddy ever! Please read the requirements on our website www.huskyhavenfl.org/adopt to ensure you meet puppy criteria. The adoption fee is $400, which includes: Vaccines & boosters (our vet) Microchip Fecal test Neuter Leash, collar, and HHOFL tag To apply Pay the $25 here on our website or via Facebook DONATE button Send a screenshot of the $25 payment to our email huskyhavenfl@gmail.com Only then we will process the application. Please know the $25 application fee is NOT a guarantee and it's NOT refundable. Thank you for your understanding. We charge an application fee for puppies because people do not read the post and the criteria in its entirety. So instead of getting 100s of unqualified apps which our volunteers take lots of time to process, this would reduce the amount of those that are not unqualified. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, I’m 1-year-old Bruno and I don’t mean to boast … but I have the most beautiful baby blue eyes! Percolating with personality, sweet with a pinch of spice, I seldom stop smiling because I’m ALWAYS hap, hap, happy. Snuggly and cuddly, I put the “a” into affection, and I live to love and be loved. Just ask my fabulous foster parents and their children. I LOVE being wherever my family is because it’s so comfy and cozy and comforting. And I gratefully reward their attention by covering them in copious Bruno kisses, kisses, and even more kisses! Not surprisingly, my favorite part of the day is when I greet them in the morning. Thinking of all of the possibilities awaiting us makes me grin and my blue eyes shine. Agile and athletic, I thrive on staying active. And that means frisking and frolicking outside with my doggy foster friend whom I also love. An “honors” student, I’ve been honing my leash skills for the long walks I take, and I’ll make some lucky someone who loves to jog and to run the paw-fect partner. Ready, set, go! Are YOU ready and set to make me YOURS so that we can go, go, go together forever? I am housebroken, crate-trained, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all of my shots.

Story
Hello there! I'm Leo, delighted to make your acquaintance! I'm in search of my lifelong companion. Could you offer me a helping hand? I'm about a year old, not just handsome but also blessed with an amazing personality. I'm a loving pup who cherishes cuddles and attention from all my human buddies! I thrive as a single dog. Leash etiquette is a bit of a work in progress for me. I tend to pull quite a bit, but as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day, right? Though I still have some food guarding tendencies, I'm getting the hang of crate training. Oh, and have I mentioned how much I adore cuddles and pets? Open your heart to me, and I'll be your faithful companion for life! I'm housebroken, nearly crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and all my vaccines are up to date. Hi! I'm Simba! I'm a 10-year-old husky with plenty of life and love to give. Not the carefree lion you might know, but a cute and cuddly husky you definitely want to meet! And guess what? I'm available for adoption! Yes, you can bring home your very own Simba (or whatever name you choose for me - I'm not picky, I just want to be with you!). I'm great on a leash, not food aggressive, and best of all, I don't destroy things around the house like some others might. I'm the most laid-back and chill boy you'll ever meet. I just want to relax with my humans. I get along with all the other dogs and am a perfect gentleman. I'm housebroken, crate trained, up to date on my shots, microchipped, and neutered.

Story
Kristoff is being fostered in TX. Kristoff's foster home would like you to know: That Kristoff is the embodiment of Happiness! This little man is filled with joy in everything he does. His tail waggle is ever present and he does a happy dance regularly. He truly is a joy and just wants to be where you are. Kristoff does shed. He has a shed similar to a husky or Shepard, where he has seasonal times where he blows his coat. Meet Kristoff (aka Kris, Little Man)! This precious pup is a chow mix, approximately 9 years old. But don’t let his age or blindness (he is blind due to cataracts) fool you, he is a spry, happy go lucky guy who can sure pour on the puppy dog eyes! When he wakes up he will do a happy dance to start the day (whether it is because he is so happy to greet his people or because it is time for breakfast is up for debate) and his joyfulness continues throughout the day (he is equally enthusiastic about bedtime!). Although his happiness abounds, he is mostly an easy going fellow and is content to enjoy the simple pleasures: his meals, leisurely strolls through the yard, chewing a bone, enjoying a cookie and most importantly, being near his people as much as possible. He is a low maintenance boy, doesn’t require a lot of walking and would thrive most in a laid back environment with someone patient, who doesn’t mind talking a lot (your voice will help guide him) and who can give him helpful hints to help him on his way (like “bump” warnings, etc). Kris can become a bit jumpy when scared or unsure, but trusting his people fixes that. The world can be a scary place when you can’t see, but most of the time he takes it in stride. He moves slowly to find his way and needs to build trust so he can feel safe. Luckily he is very smart and a fast learner (he learned how to find and use his foster’s doggy door within a day & lets himself in and out, and quickly learned “sit” and now enthusiastically sits on his own to wait for his meals). He doesn’t always love getting leashed, but he does follow along (happily, once he trusts the person on the other end) and he is definitely not a fan of car rides. Kris gets a little protective over food & treats and will give a warning grumble but he is otherwise ok with other dogs, he just isn’t too interested in them. Unsure about cats or kids. But we all have our things, right? This well behaved boy is content to sit in his room or crate, patiently waiting, and loves a routine that allows for lots of rests and doggy massages on request. The yard is his happy place. And above all else, this fellow is a pure joy to be around. If you have the time and patience to help this little man navigate the world, you will soon realize that you are very blessed to have this bundle of love by your side! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
