Wrangler is being fostered in PA.Wrangler has some limited vision.Wrangler here with an update on me, foster Mommy said I had to do it since they did some new tests on me. First, I am a big boy at almost 1.5 years old now! Anyway, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which they are treating with low fat food and watching my diet. Also, my B12 is low so foster Mommy gives me a shot every 3 weeks. I do great with the shot, she gives it while I am eating and I could care less cause I just want my food lolAlso, something that goes with the IBD thingy is anxiety and I try, but am scared of new things. I like to go slow meeting new ones. I can’t tell my foster Mommy why, but I’m scared of men. We are working on all this. I am great at home and I don’t do anything in the house when foster Mommy leaves because I have other doggies I am with. So as long as I am not alone, I am ok.We are trying Prozac to see if this will help relax me enough to get over my fears because I am a sweetie, really! And, I just love cuddling on the couch with foster Mommy and sleeping in bed with her. Even though I can stretch out and take up leg room at times hee heeBDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Volt is being fostered in NC. Volt has some vision. update Volt is doing well! He lives for cuddles at night before going to bed in his crate. During the day he has one speed and that is lightning fast. His favorite treat is carrots and he will do anything for them but lay down, lol. He has a pretty good recall and knows sit. He is fully potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go out. He plays so gently with his foster mom's mini aussies and rough and tumble with Elektra (corso) and Trigger (lab). Volt had some grand mal seizures that were caused by Simparica Trio. These lasted about 3 weeks with lingering focal seizures. He is still on keppra and he's doing great! He has not had any seizures in the last 3 months. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately

Hi, I'm Jeffrey! I’m a 9-year-old husky with a beautiful cinnamon coat and the coolest eyes you’ll ever see — one of them is half blue and half amber! I’m housebroken and crate trained, and I actually love my crate. It’s my safe space where I go to relax and unwind. I absolutely love walks and going for runs. I might pull a little at first because I get so excited, but once I settle down, I walk like a very good boy. I’d be happiest with a family that enjoys adventures because I also love car rides and going anywhere my people go. I’m great with other dogs! I love to play and zoom around the backyard with my foster brother Theo. I’m especially obsessed with my ball — I’ll even play with it all by myself. I was a little too friendly at first (oops), but that didn’t last long. I love getting pets from kids we meet on walks. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, but since I do like chasing squirrels, a home without cats might be best for me. I’m playful, I love to sing (and I’m not shy about it!), and I have a pretty great husky voice. If I want a walk or a snack, you’ll definitely know. I’m also smart and curious. I know my commands — sit, lay down, shake, and out — and I catch on quickly. I do like to “inspect” cupboards, drawers, and even the trash can sometimes, but I’m not destructive… just curious! Sometimes in the evenings I get a little restless. When I start pacing, it usually means I’m looking for my comfy spot. My crate helps me feel calm and safe, and I fall asleep easily once I’m in there. More than anything, I am loving. My favorite place in the whole world is right next to my humans. I love couch snuggles, resting my head on your lap or chest, sitting by your feet while you work, and even gently plopping myself on you if you’re laying down. I just want to be close to you. Hi, I’m a handsome Siberian Husky, neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped. I’m a well-mannered, affectionate boy who has adjusted beautifully to family life. I love belly rubs, going for walks, and being close to my people. At home, I’m pretty laid back and respectful—I stay off the furniture, listen well, and even let you know when I need to go outside. I haven’t had much time with other dogs in my foster home, but I did well with them in the past according to my owner and even the groomer. On walks, I enjoy taking in all the scents, and I always use a leash now—but when I was with my previous owner, I would stay close and come when called. My favorite things are belly rubs, affection, and being a good boy. I’m not much of a talker, but I’ll give a little “yip” when I need something. Kristoff is being fostered in Ocala FL. Kristoff is a happy fellow, who spends most of his time off on his own in a comfortable spot. He doesn’t really play - his idea of playing is finding a toy or bone laying around and taking it back to his dog bed and stashing it. He enjoys getting scratches and pets, and will ask for them occasionally, but he isn’t an overly affectionate fellow. As a former street dog, he can startle easily and be defensive, but with vocal cues he understands what to expect. He loves having other fur friends nearby (as long as they respect his space), but that has to be managed as he is a “snap first, ask questions later” kind of guy. He loves to get close to his fur friends, he just doesn’t like when they get close to him instead. ⁃ His loves: food, treats, sweet talk, routines, verbal cues ⁃ His dislikes: car rides, being confined, touching his feet, fur friends coming near him when he is sleeping or eating. Did we mention car rides and being confined?!? Kristoff shows some signs of his almost 13 years with the greying on his face, but he hops around and enthusiastically wags his tail like a puppy! In fact if you ask him “is your floof flag flying?” He will immediately oblige by frantically waving it in the most adorable way. Kris thrives on routine, he’s a great eater and a gentle treat taker. He enjoys small doses of affection and then happily goes off to lay down in his favorite spot. While Kris enjoys having fur friends nearby(as long as they respect his space), he is very independent, and doesn’t play with others - he mostly (happily) keeps to himself. He does best when not confined and when you use the words he knows to let him know what to expect. So if you are looking for an independent fur friend who happily accepts small doses of affection but won’t be hogging space on your couch, take another look at Kristoff. He will fill your heart with joy without demanding a lot of your attention.
