Hi friends — my name is Falkor, and even though I can’t see the world, I still think it’s a pretty wonderful place. 🤍 I’m estimated to be around 4 years old, and I was found as a stray at a local animal control where I really needed someone to notice me and help me get out safely. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave me that chance. I’m blind, and the humans think I was probably born this way. But honestly? I don’t let it slow me down much at all. Once I learn my surroundings, I move around just fine and live life like any other dog. I use my nose, my ears, and my heart to guide me. I’m also heartworm positive right now, but the good news is my rescue is covering my treatment so I can get healthy. What I really need now is a family willing to see past my medical stuff and realize I’m just a happy, loving dog who wants to belong somewhere. Being blind doesn’t make me broken. It just means I experience the world differently. I still love soft beds, kind voices, gentle pets, and feeling safe beside my people. I’ve spent enough time being overlooked. Story
Kiya is 6 years old, and her birthday is March 1, 2020. At first meeting, she's timid and a little nervous. Once she's comfortable, she is silly, playful, and loves long conversations! Kiya's new family should have husky experience. If her new home doesn't have a fence, she will need frequent walks or a sky track (supervised), which is what she's had her whole life! She is great with other dogs, but does have a high prey drive (small dogs should be watched, and she has never been exposed to cats). She is great with kids of all ages, and she is not a fan of hats. She is independent, and doesn't mind hanging out on the porch or deck soaking in the sun. She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on all shots. Kiya is also crate trained.She's hoping to be adopted with her brother Loki who is 9 months younger than her). If her new family can take them both, they have a custom furniture crate they can take with them (along with all toys, food, and belongings).

Story
Loki is 5 years old and his birthday is November 20, 2020. We got him at 8 weeks old from a farm in East Indiana. Loki's new family will need husky experience, he is vocal (loves to chat), LOVES being around his people and his canine sister Kiya and is good with kids over 6 that can be respectful of his space and toys. Loki behaves well in the house and is strong on the least when walked. A fence would be recommended, but I've leashed walked him for 6 years without an issue or used a sky track in my yard (supervised). He does have a high prey drive, and is NOT cat friendly. Loki's favorite thing to do is relax in the living room with his favorite toys or chewy's and play fetch with squeeker balls. He also puts himself to bed in his crate around 9pm every night after a 'bedtime walk'. He is neutered and microchipped. He is hoping to be adopted WITH his sister Kiya (who is 9 months older), and if that works out, they have a custom furniture crate for their new home.
