Story
Meet Lizzy 🐾✨ Lizzy is a 1.5-year-old Pomsky mix with a soft heart and a gentle spirit. She may be a little shy and scared right now, but underneath that timid exterior is a sweet girl just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe. Lizzy will need a patient, understanding home that can go at her pace and let her build confidence slowly. With time, consistency, and kindness, she has all the potential to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. One thing we already know about Lizzy—she does wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making her a great fit for a calm, multi-pet home where she can feel comforted by other animals. She’s looking for someone who sees not just who she is today, but who she can become 💕 A little love will go a very long way for this girl. If you believe in giving shy dogs a chance to shine, Lizzy is waiting. Apply to adopt her at: [www.bigdogsdontcry.com](http://www.bigdogsdontcry.com) Her safe place is out there.

Story
Hi friends — my name is Falkor, and even though I can’t see the world, I still think it’s a pretty wonderful place. 🤍 I’m estimated to be around 4 years old, and I was found as a stray at a local animal control where I really needed someone to notice me and help me get out safely. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave me that chance. I’m blind, and the humans think I was probably born this way. But honestly? I don’t let it slow me down much at all. Once I learn my surroundings, I move around just fine and live life like any other dog. I use my nose, my ears, and my heart to guide me. I’m also heartworm positive right now, but the good news is my rescue is covering my treatment so I can get healthy. What I really need now is a family willing to see past my medical stuff and realize I’m just a happy, loving dog who wants to belong somewhere. Being blind doesn’t make me broken. It just means I experience the world differently. I still love soft beds, kind voices, gentle pets, and feeling safe beside my people. I’ve spent enough time being overlooked. I’m ready for a home where I’ll never have to wonder if I’m wanted again. Maybe you could be my eyes… and I could be your best friend. 🐾 apply at www.bigdogsdontcry.com

Story
Meet our beautiful 5-year-old female Siberian Husky, hazel! She is a sweet and loving girl who enjoys spending time with people and has a playful personality. She is looking for a new home where she can receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise. She is not currently spayed and is not up to date on vaccinations, so her new family should be prepared to continue her veterinary care. Rehoming her is a difficult decision, and we are hoping to find a responsible and caring home that will cherish her as part of the family. (Price negotiable)

Story
Meet Ellie! She is friendly and confident with new people. She loves treats, bootie scritches, and chest massages. After spending a few minutes with her, you`ll see just how affectionate she is. She is very dog friendly, but doesn’t like cats.Ellie is having a rough time at the shelter. She spends all of her time pacing back and forth in her kennel. She needs a home sooner rather than later. Ellie is HW+. The shelter will cover all of her treatment, but she needs to be with a family first.FemaleSiberian Husky (mix?)3 years 7 months43 lbsOrigin Story: Ellie came in as a chipped stray. Person on chip said she re-homed me to: Leona HenderlongThe shelter has left voicemails, Ellie has not been reclaimed.---------------------------------------------------Interested in adopting? The BEST way to adopt is to come meet the pet in person at the shelter and fill out an application while you’re here. No appointment needed! Please note: in-person adopters who have already met the animal get first priority, and sometimes pets are adopted before we’re able to contact online applicants.Hours: 11am-7pm Tuesdays & Fridays11- 4pm All Other Days

Story
A friend of mine had Koda but had to move and couldn’t bring him with. He was gonna bring him to a shelter so I told him I would watch him and try to find him a good home. He’s about 15 months old and a real handsome boy. He’s good with my other dog and cat. He’s quite affectionate and loves to cuddle. He could definitely use some training. I will do what I can while he’s here. I’m not looking to charge anyone to adopt him. I would just like to find him a good home. Being a husky he would do best with a big fenced yard and daily exercise
