Aspen originally came to us as a young puppy 💙 Unfortunately he is back to searching for his forever home at no fault of his own. Heres some key points about this gorgeous boy: 💙 5 year old Lab, Siberian Husky and Aussie mix 💙 Smart, high energy and loves to play 💙 if you have children they will love him 💙 Gentle and loves people 💙 House broken and crate trained According to his current family he only makes a mild brief alert bark if a car shows up in the driveway or deer roam into the yard but he immediately stops when told. Story
Coraline 🩷 this beauty came to us as a young pup but to no fault of her own is now searching for a new place to call home Corlaine s a 7 year old 35-pound mix of 50% Siberian Husky and 50% of a little bit of everything else. She is spunky and sweet but a bit standoffish. She is house broken and crate trained. She is very sweet and friendly to everyone when ready to say hey. She is very quiet and has never growled. She would be great with kids since she loves to run....She will test your fence for ways out so a good enclosure is important. If interested in adopting Coraline you can apply at mispitsandfriends.org

Stormi is a wonderful, laid back dog, who never goes to the bathroom in the house, and likes the cold weather and snow. She isn’t your average husky mix because she is not noisy or talks a lot. She has been so sweet and protective to our children.

Story
Uh-Huh, you heard that right! Golden Retriever, Husky, Poodle, Labrador Retriever, and lots of other fun things! Uh-Huh's foster completed a DNA test on one of his siblings whom she adopted, and now we know what makes this little gentleman so beautiful and unique. At just 2 months old and 16 pounds, Uh-Huh is going to grow into a big, lovable boy! Uh-Huh was one of seven Doodle puppies born to Mama Annie, a wonderful-tempered Doodle whom HSOC loved dearly before she sadly passed away due to health complications. Uh-Huh definitely inherited her sweet personality, along with some of her longer, fuzzy hair. Uh-Huh comes with all of the HSOC requirements! He will be neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. He is also eligible for one free puppy training lesson through Jim Kats at Micky's House. We're so excited to watch Uh-Huh grow up, but we'd rather watch from afar while receiving optional updates from his forever family! Submit your application today to be contacted about this sweet and unique boy.

Story
🚗 McQueen is getting ready for his next big adventure! 🚗 On September 2nd, our boy McQueen will be starting his board and train with WMK9. If you know McQueen, you already know this handsome gentleman is intelligent, obedient, and incredibly well-mannered. His time at board and train will be focused on polishing up his overall demeanor, including working through some barrier reactivity. McQueen is going to go in amazing, and come out the best version of himself he can be. 💙 McQueen is a 6-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix who weighs in at 63 pounds of tall, lanky, lovable charm. He’s a mature gentleman with a goofy side that keeps everyone smiling. This boy is: ✨ AMAZING on walks (no leash pulling here!) ✨ Happy to sit for treats OR affection ✨ A professional car rider who loves new adventures ✨ Housetrained and crate-trained McQueen has become a favorite among our staff and volunteers on the dog team. Maybe it’s because he’s so handsome, maybe it’s because his head is a little too big for his body, or maybe it’s just because his personality is impossible to resist. Whatever it is, McQueen has a way of stealing hearts. Our dream is to send McQueen straight from his board-and-train into his forever home this September. WMK9 trainer Jeff will provide his adopter with a full demonstration of everything McQueen has learned, along with guidance on how to continue building on and continuing those skills. And of course, McQueen comes prepared for his new life: fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and with a wonderful care package from the people who love him so much. A dog who has already completed a private board-and-train program? A dog who is smart, loyal, and ready to be someone’s best friend? It doesn’t get much better than McQueen. 💙 Could you be the one who takes this incredible boy home?

Story
URGENT: SPECIAL MEDICAL FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE FAMILY NEEDED! Lucie Bee is a 2 year, 7 month old female Golden Retriever (about 68 lbs) and her BFF Buddy is a 3 year, 8 month old Border Collie/Akita mix (about 50lbs) and they are the kind of pair who just belong together! These two came to GRRAND after their family experienced a heartbreaking loss, and through all of the change in their world, they’ve held tightly to the one thing that has remained constant: each other. They are wonderfully bonded, deeply connected, and, as one person lovingly described them, “like peanut butter and jelly.” Buddy Bee is the black-and-white charmer of the pair — friendly, social, and full of love. He doesn’t know a stranger and seems to believe every person he meets is simply a friend he hasn’t said hello to yet. He’s the more outgoing half of this duo and brings a happy, easy warmth wherever he goes. Lucie Bee is Buddy’s beautiful golden sidekick. She’s a little softer and more sensitive at first, but once she settles in, she does just fine. If Buddy is the social butterfly, Lucie is the sweet soul who takes a minute to look around, make sure all is well, and then quietly let her lovely personality shine. She’s a good girl who seems to draw comfort from having Buddy close by... And Buddy is very happy to oblige! She is also able to clear a 4 FT high fence, so a privacy fenced yard or professionally installed invisible fence would be best to keep them contained. These two truly seem to balance each other in the best way — Buddy bringing the confidence, Lucie bringing the gentle heart, and both of them bringing a whole lot of sweetness to the table. They are curious, affectionate, fun and pretty calm dogs. They are an awesome pair. Lucie is also facing a medical hurdle right now. After arriving at GRRAND not wanting to bear weight on one of her back legs, she was evaluated by our vet and diagnosed with a torn CCL, which means she will need surgery. Because of that, GRRAND will be looking for a medical foster for Lucie while she recovers. Our hope, of course, is to find a foster willing and able to take both Buddy and Lucie together, because they are so very close. We also understand that fostering a dog recovering from orthopedic surgery while also taking on a bonded pair is a big ask. If needed, they may have to be temporarily separated during Lucie’s recovery, but only if absolutely necessary. Buddy Bee and Lucie Bee are looking for a soft place to land, a family who will appreciate the sweetness of a bonded pair, and a home where they can continue the next chapter of life together. They’ve already been through a great deal, but they still have so much love to give to a loving new family. If your heart has room for two very special best friends, Buddy Bee and Lucie Bee would love to meet you, so please fill out an app at GRRAND.org and we can make this meet and greet happen! ##2778287##
