Story
Meet Jackson,a handsome adult (estimated age 4-7 years old) neutered male husky who is every bit as sweet as he looks! This boy weighs about 47 lbs (his fur makes him look bigger than he is!). Jackson is a very sweet, friendlyboy who loves his people and enjoys making new friends - human and canine alike! He loves kids, but we recommend older kids 8+ or dog savvy kids, as he may unintentionally knock over a small child. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Jacksoncan do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how he settles in before committing to adoption. From Jackson's current foster: "Jackson is a super nice, clean boy with flawless house manners. He has had no accidents and is not destructive at all. He's actually quite calm and extremely affectionate. His loving nature sets him apart -- he makes himself available for hugs and petting. He's been wonderful with the neighborhood children. Everyone is his friend. He's a sweet deserving dog who is going to make someone very happy." He is medically up to date, housebroken (both his current and prior foster report that he has not had a single accident in the house!), and crate trained. Applyto meet this good boy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application:pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other "less desirable" dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2517941##

Story
Meet Dancer, a super cute 6 month old female husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 35 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't she 100% adorable?!  We expect her to grow to a medium sized dog. Dancer and her 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them. Although she had a rough start, you would never know it! Dancer is a super sweet lovebug who bonds closely with her people. From Dancer: " About MeHi there! I’m a young husky mix on the lookout for my forever family. I might be a little shy at first—I just need a bit of time to warm up, look around, and learn to trust you. But let me tell you a secret: once I know I’m safe and I give you my heart, I am yours completely. I will become your most loyal, sweet, and lovable companion, and your absolute best friend for life! Personality: Loyal, sweet, lovable, and super smart! My Perfect DaySnuggle Time: I am a total cuddle bug. There is nothing better than curling up close to my favorite humans for some serious couch snuggles. Playtime: I’ve got that fun puppy energy! I am incredibly playful and absolutely love other dogs, so if you have a canine sibling for me to romp around with, that would be amazing! Learning & Treats: Did someone say treats? I am highly food-motivated and super smart, which makes training a blast. My Skills & Current ClassesI'm already a good girl who takes correction well, and I'm working hard every day to be the best dog I can be: House Training: I am already pee-pad trained and am currently working hard on my outdoor housebreaking. Leash Manners: I’m practicing my leash skills so we can go on wonderful walks together soon. If you have a little patience to help me build my confidence, I promise to reward you with a lifetime of unconditional love, playful antics, and the best snuggles you could ever ask for!" She is medically up to date (awaiting spay appointment now that she is old enough), crate trained, and mostly housebroken. Apply to meet Dancer today! Story
Meet Dasher, a super cute 6 month old male husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 47 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't he 100% adorable?!  He is expected to grow to a large dog. Dasher and his 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them. Although he had a rough start, you would never know it! Dasher is a super sweet, friendly boy who is so full of love! He is good with other dogs, people, and kids (not cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with cats). From Dasher's foster: "Dasher is winning over hearts everywhere he goes, we’re amazed we’ve even had had him for this long. His demeanor has changed so much since we got him 3.5 months ago. He’s spunky and loves to play, but is also happy snuggling up next to you on the couch and getting some belly rubs! This heatwave has been a shock for him, but he loves to keep cool with a tasty ice cube or two. He’s incredibly smart and we think a great fit for any home that can give him the exercise and play he needs but also a comfy place to lay his head." He is medically up to date (awaiting neuter appointment now that he is old enough), crate trained, and housebroken. Apply to meet Dasher today! Meet Donner, a super cute 6 month old male husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 42 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't he100% adorable?! We expect him to grow to a large dog. Donner and his 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. Donner is a super sweet cuddlebug with so much love to give! From Donner's foster: "Have you ever wanted your own polar bear?! Well look no further, because Donner is your pup! He may take a moment to warm up, but once he knows you love him, he is the best cuddle bug. He is a sweet and lovable pup that just wants everyone to love him! This little guy is smart, playful, and enjoys everything. He has already learned to sit and is working on his stay. He enjoys playing with his sister and his foster brothers. He is certainly a polar bear because he loves to be outside in the snow running and playing! Don't forget eating the snow is also delicious! He is working hard on his potty training - he will use a peepad and also go outside. He is on the right track and in no time will be completely potty trained. He is crate trained and will sleep all night with no issues. If you are looking for a sweet, smart, fluffy, playful polar bear than Donner is your man!"
