Story
Attention Husky lovers! Skye is a gorgeous 2 year old Siberian Husky searching for a husky loving forever home! She is medium sized around 50 lbs with gorgeous blue eyes, curly tail and a thick black and white coat. Skye is a stereotypical husky - she is talkative, energetic, and slightly aloof. She is very sweet, goofy and playful and loves to zoom around the yard - a secure yard is a non-negotiable for this energetic girl. She hasn’t had much stability in her life but absolutely thrives on the companionship of other dogs and must have another dog in her forever home. She greets every new dog with playful barks and play bows! We feel a no cat home would be best for her. She would make a great outdoor adventure partner for an active family! We don’t think Skye was ever housebroken in her past life, but she is working on it in her foster home and will need some continued structure and patience. She is spayed and utd on vaccines. She sleeps through the night in a crate and rides calmly in the car. She knows some commands, is food motivated, and takes treats gently. If you love huskies for all of their quirks and feel that a home is not a home without some husky fur, then Skye is the girl for you! She is a beautiful young pup that will blossom with stability, canine and human companionship, and of course, love. Skye is fostered in Hunterdon County NJ and is available for meet and greets! http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html @cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj

Story
Pashia – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for Her Person    There are dogs who come and go in our lives... and then there are dogs like Pashia — the kind of soul who doesn’t just enter your world, she changes it.  At 2 years old and 55 pounds, Pashia is a breathtaking blue-eyed Husky with a quiet strength and a heart that speaks volumes once it trusts you. She’s not just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees beyond the pretty face and into the smart, loyal, sensitive spirit that lies beneath.  This girl has so much love to give, but she doesn’t give it away to just anyone — and that’s what makes it so special. Once Pashia chooses you, it’s for keeps. She will be your shadow on the trails, your snuggle buddy during movie nights, your calm presence on quiet mornings. The bond you build with her won’t be just another pet relationship — it will be deep, soulful, and unforgettable. Pashia is beautifully balanced — playful and silly with her toys (she treasures them and never destroys them), yet calm and observant when the day winds down. She loves sitting by a window or glass door, just watching the world — as if taking it all in with a quiet kind of wisdom. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. She walks well on leash and enjoys slow strolls where she can take in the sights, scents, and sounds of nature.  She’s a work of art in motion — elegant and athletic — and would thrive with someone who wants a partner for outdoor adventures. But more than anything, she wants a heart to anchor to.  Because of her past, she takes time to trust, and she’s selective with some dogs — especially those with dominant personalities. She’s done well with older or submissive male dogs and could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She just needs a home that’s calm, structured, and full of love. Someone who understands that earning the affection of a dog like Pashia isn’t instant — but is entirely worth the wait.  Pashia has grown so much and overcome so many quiet battles. Now, she’s ready to settle into a life where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. If you’re someone who doesn’t just want a dog, but wants one to be 'your' dog — the kind of companion who looks into your eyes and just gets you — then Pashia may be the one you've been waiting for. &#226&#156&#168 Give her the fairytale ending she deserves. Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Pashia. Because once she lets you into her heart… you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 4, 2025, 4:22 pm

Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 3, 2024, 10:10 pm
