Story
Sparkly Sabrina is magical!!! Can you believe that his sweet, beautiful Husky mix girl was abandoned....the people just moved away and left her to starve. It doesn't take long till you realize this dog is an exceptionally smart girl.  She appears to be young at just approximately 2 years and 60 lbs. Always smiling, she is quick to please and equally quick to learn.  Being playful is her happy quality. Sabrina loves to go for walks (or runs!) and is wonderful riding in the car. Her one wish and desire in life to to be with a family or an individual person who will cherish her. She seeks attention, love and reassurance as you might expect an abandoned dog to do.  She adores kind words, pats on the head and belly rubs. In fact, belly rubs are magic to her. She does okay with other dogs but can be a little snarky at times. Her rope is her favorite toy, flinging it gleefully. At time, she is just plain smiley and silly. One of her quirks is her magicical disappearing/escape tricks to get out of an outdoor kennel or fenced yard when alone outside.  She just truly wants to be inside all the time. She is super special and needs an owner   experienced with Huskies.  They are sensitive and devoted dogs with special qualities.  If you are interested please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 28, 2023, 3:10 pm

Story
Our handsome white Blue Eyed pure bred Husky boy is called Sackett and he is a 6 year old sweetheart who just lost his forever canine friend and he is very sad.  We are looking to find him a new home with another dog that will be his best buddy.  Sackett is such a wonderful dog and he used to be shy and untrusting of people but he is not anymore.  He has a loving personality and he is a major bedtime snuggler who loves to be petted and told how handsome he is. He is very playful with other dogs and enjoys a good game of chase with his adult humans and tug of war. He loves summertime and the chance to play and lay in the kiddie pool.  He will play in the pool for hours, he will dig in the pool and also try and catch the water spraying. It is so entertaining to see him dive and go underwater to get his toys. For 6 years old and 43 pounds,  he is very playful. He loves to be wherever people are. He’s food  motivated and he likes to go for drives and stick his head out the window to see the world speeding by and to feel the wind on his face. He does well with other dogs but he does need you to be fair in your attention to him and equally to another dog.  Sometimes it hurts his feelings if he is not the center of your attention.  We think that Sackett would be a prize for someone …. And he will require frequent baths so get ready.  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is ready to go now! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 28, 2023, 3:10 pm

Story
Max (DOB 7/10/18) is a gorgeous Siberian Husky who is looking for a new home because his owner has a major life change and cannot keep his dogs.  Heartbroken is all we can say about this situation for many of these Husky’s in his home.   This boy is a jewel and will need a privacy fenced yard because his passion used to be escaping a chain link fenced yard.  This drop dead gorgeous blue eyed Max is a very sweet, playful, gregarious boy. He has never met a dog or person that wasn’t his instant best friend. He can be boisterous as most Huskies are and he loves playing with people and other dogs.  His affectionate nature often leads him to cuddles on the sofa and bursting out in to the Husky singing …..with several verses too!  He is a talker and a hugger.  He is in need of hearty humans to live with because this boy is big and active and sometimes a challenge to get out the door for some adventure at times.  He loves climbing onto high things to watch the world around him which is the nature of the Husky breed. He loves his antlers to chew and stuffies and is generally not destructive in the home, but should be caged when left. He very occasionally will select one small object as his “possession,” and chew it and will forage for food if left alone like most dogs.   He is fair on leash, cage trained, and knows a few basic commands. He is very social, and would do best with another active dog who will play, another sibe, or his current BFF, Summer the Siberian girl in his home. He needs privacy fencing due to his agility and escape history. He will occasionally dig, if bored. NO cats or small animals- he does have the Husky prey drive.  He does tend to overweight, so his diet should be monitored. There is not a mean bone in Max- he is totally loving and sweet, and an unbelievable great personality.  Max needs a new home ASAP.  This boy will be a treasure.  Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   If you are interested in knowing more!

Story
McAlister is a handsome golden Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us as a one-year-old boy back in 2017.  We have loved having his incredible sweet natured personality around.  This boy has been trained and was sent to obedience school and knows his basic commands.  Of course, he has been trained to walk beautifully on a leash with very little pulling and he not aggressive with other dogs, but he will not let another dog roll him over to submit.  He is confident enough to nicely stand his ground.  The problem with the family who owns him is that they do not have a fenced yard and will not put one in.  So…McAlister likes to wander off if he’s left unattended in the yard.  This is dangerous for him and frustrating for the family who knows he likes to be outside some during the day.  He would have to be either in a fenced yard or watched while he is outside free to walk the yard.  He has always been inside and he loves it.  McAlister is amazing with cats.  His owner is a cat foster and says that he’s like a little nanny whenever she has newborns in the house.  McAlister will always keep close watch over them and has to be wherever the babies are.  His owner must find him a new because she is moving from a home she owns to a rental property that the landlord will not allow her to have an 85 dog, which McAlister is that big.  She is heartbroken to give up such a wonderful boy!  He is perfect in every way and she will miss him terribly.  If you would be so kind as to give McAlister a new and very loving new home McAlister and his momma would be forever indebted to you!   Please email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 28, 2023, 3:10 pm

Story
When you see the smiling face of Happy Hobo you can’t do anything but “smile” right back at him!   This young, one year old, 50 pound Husky/Aussie boy, is destined to spread good cheer and love to all he meets in the world.  He is a dog that loves to lean in to your body as you have him at the end of the leash.  He craves love and some good time with a caring human.  He came in to a very small and crowded shelter and he is looking for a foster or an adopter.  He is fully vetted now and very healthy.  He is good with other dogs and we do not know about cats at the moment, but can test him.  This handsome red and white boy is fully grown and he’s a show stopper.  We know that Happy Hobo has a mission in this world and needs to be a part of the life of a vibrant person, family or young couple.  He is a dream dog.  A happy soul that has sunshine to spread around with the world.  Take a chance and you will never regret that you won the “doggie lottery”.  Contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know if you would like to foster OR to ADOPT! Story
Sebastian (Bash) is a wonderful friendly and playful Husky mix who is about 2 years old. He has a beautiful tan and white coat and stunning green eyes. He is the type of dog that likes to be near you at all times. We rescued him from Austin, Texas, 6 months ago through a family member there and we were hoping he would integrate into our pack. We’re heartbroken to have to give him up, but he does not get along with our other dogs and separating them is not working so we must find him a new home. Bash is great with people and kids and most other dogs when outside but he probably should be an only dog. We don’t know about cats. He has all of his shots, is neutered and has had a recent vet check up.  Bash is not with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping his family network him to find a safe and loving new home. If you are interested in meeting Bash, please contact Michael directly by phone at 609-203-7011 or michaelmacdougal@gmail.com - Bash currently lives in Hampton, NJ. May 28, 2023, 3:32 pm
