Story
Meet Capone! I'm a silly, playful, and fun-loving guy who will keep you entertained with my delightful antics. You'll be pleased to know that I'm both crate and potty trained, making me a well-behaved companion. However, I should mention that I prefer to be the only dog in the house, and I'm most comfortable in a home with adults - so no kids, please. I absolutely adore going for walks, and I'm always up for a good cuddle session or some playtime. Chewing on bones is a favorite pastime of mine, and I'm a sucker for treats. You'll find that I'm smart but a bit hard-headed, which can make life with me quite an adventure. Trust me, I'm even cuter in person! If you think I might be the one you're looking for, don't hesitate to ask to meet me. I can't wait to become your best friend and fill your life with love and laughter! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Koda is already neutered and READY TO GO HOME TODAY! During a recent playgroup session, Koda didn't quite seem to know how to interact with other dogs. He enjoyed chasing the other dog, but once chasing ended he wasn't quite sure what to do and seemed a bit uncomfortable. If going to a home with another dog, he will likely need slow introductions over the course of at least a few days to ensure the two can peacefully co-exist. Koda has heartworms but it's treatable and not contagious. To help with the medical cost, a $400 sponsorship for treatment is provided by Friends of Wake County Animal Center. Email healaheart@outlook.com for more information. If you're interested in learning more about Koda, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Koda 240169."He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and already neutered. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Story
Oh, Blare! You will find yourself saying this often as you watch this pretty, goofball live her best life with you! She is young and full of puppy, silly energy. She is currently in foster with several other dogs, and they are all her best friend, just ask her! She LOVES other dogs. Her favorite playmates are the tolerant, higher energy type, but she is respectful of the older dog in the house who does not want to play with her. She loves toys and bones, as well. If it involves playing, she is interested! Blare has the best prance, like a gazelle, running through the yard. She is fast and athletic! She is very small and skinny for a husky, and we are working to put some weight on her. She is fantastic on her leash, with excellent manners and no pulling. She is working on potty training and is making progress. She has a bit of separation anxiety, but sleeps very well in her crate, as long as she is in the room with you. She stays in her crate when no one is home with her as well, and is getting the hang of crate training. After she has had adequate exercise and play time, she is happy to lounge on her bed or on the couch. She is an excellent napper! We are enjoying getting to know her and watching her learn and grow. She is a smart girl, with a big personality. She is very inquisitive and likes to be near you, but is not super clingy. We are looking for a home that will be patient with her as she continues to learn, and will be active to give her the happiest life. She would love to have a doggy sibling to play with, if possible! Blare is heartworm positive, but please do not let that deter you. She is sponsored for up to $400 of her treatment. Heartworms are not contagious, and very treatable. Once she is treated, there is no lasting effect. If you think Blare would be a great addition to your home and family, please email her foster mom at hickeym08@gmail.com. We feel certain you will not be disappointed when you meet this sweet, bouncy, eccentric girl! Please only inquiries who understand adopting a dog is a lifelong commitment and will treat her and love her like family. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 42 Age: 3yrs 2mths 3wks

Story
Hi Everyone! We're needing to rehome our girl Ciya. We're located in Knightdale , NC. We have to rehome her because we just found out our youngest son is severely allergic to her. She's a 10 yr old Akita. I would describe her as very calm and peaceful. She is very sweet and loves kids. She enjoys short walks, rubs, exploring outdoors and just hanging out. She is an indoor lady so I would ask that anyone looking to place her outdoors not respond. Please let me know if you have questions pertaining to rehoming her. Thank you so much for reading this far.
