Story
Meet Marshmallow. Marshmallow came to us from a rough humane case, but you'd never know it by his joyful spirit. This sweet, goofy boy lives for playtime with his people and absolutely loves to show off his lightning-fast zoomies in the yard. Rain? Snow? Sunshine? He doesn't mind one bit - as long as he gets to be outside having fun. Just beware mud puddles are his absolute favorite! He does wonderfully with kids of all ages and thrives on attention and activity. When it comes to cats, Marshmallow has a high prey drive and has not done well with the house cats at the shelter. With other dogs, he can be a bit selective doing really well with some and not so great with a few others. If you have a canine companion already in your home, we ask that a meet and greet is scheduled before deciding to take Marshmallow home! Marshmallow is still polishing up on his manners - he's working on his potty training and can get a bit jumpy when he gets very excited. But with his eagerness to learn he would truly blossom with a family ready to turn training into a fun bonding adventure. An active home with a yard or one that could take him on frequent walks would be perfect for this energetic sweetheart. If you are looking for a loyal and playful best friend who will keep you laughing (and maybe a little muddy), Marshmallow is ready to run straight into your heart! If you are interested in fostering or adopting Marshmallow, please feel free to fill out an application!

Story
Hi, my official name is Fancy Fox, but most people just call me Foxy. I really should be called 'Foxy Lady' since the boy dogs seem to really like me. Obviously I am a Husky and I am 15 months old. And currently only 35 lbs. I am a bit skinny and wolfing down the good food at my rescue to gain some weight. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I decide you're ok you will find I am a pretty sweet gal. I like to meet people in a nice quiet place and that's when I shine. If you are patient and gain my trust, I will put my nose in your hand and maybe even you a little kiss.My temporary foster family says I'm a calm girl who is pretty shy but I see him like I know the ropes of a house. I'm warming up slowly to everyone around me and just need time to settle in. Oh and of course as a husky I am loving all this snow!If you think I'm what you're looking for, apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
Keeba is an almost 13, Husky/Golden Retriever mix. Hes a kind, gentle soul who loves affection. You wouldnt guess his agehe still gets bursts of energy and does 'zoomies' in the yard with his sister (Missy). Hes very easygoing, does well with cats and kids, and has had limited exposure to other dogs but has a calm, beta personality when he meets them.He is incredibly sweet and bonded with Missy so we would love to see them go to the same home if possible but will consider splitting them up if we need to. They have been together pretty much their whole lives.

Story
***FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT**Meet Ben! Looking for a pocket-sized husky with a big personality? Ben is your guy! At about 30 pounds and approximately a year old (per vet paperwork), this handsome boy may still have a little growing to do but hes already overflowing with charm. And lets talk about those eyes Ben has one striking blue eye and one deep brown eye, giving him that classic husky look that stops people in their tracks. His mismatched eyes are as unforgettable as his fun-loving spirit.Ben is everything people adore about huskies friendly, playful, outgoing, and full of life. During his photo session, he was incredibly social, soaking up attention, leaning in for affection, and showing off his silly, expressive personality. He genuinely loves being around people and brings a happy energy wherever he goes. At his age, Ben is still very much in that young, playful stage. He has that classic husky-level enthusiasm and will thrive with an active family who can keep him engaged with walks, adventures, and continued training to challenge that smart brain. Hes food-motivated, curious, and eager to interact all great traits for learning. Why Foster or Foster-to-Adopt?When Ben arrived from a high-intake shelter in Texas (where heartworm is unfortunately common), he tested positive for heartworm. The good news is that heartworm is treatable and not contagious its only transmitted through mosquito bites. Canine Collective will cover the full cost of his treatment, which includes three vet visits over the course of about four months. During that time, Ben will need a foster home where he can stay calm and comfortable while he heals (think leash walks and snuggle time instead of marathon zoomies). Were looking for a loving foster or foster-to-adopt home to help him through this temporary chapter. And if, after treatment, you realize you cant imagine life without those unforgettable eyes? We would be absolutely thrilled to make it official. Apply at www.caninecollective.org

Story
Luna was surrendered to the shelter with her brother, Loki, and while losing your home is never easy, this girl is choosing to cope the only way she knows how: by being an absolute pop princess.Luna loves other dogs, thrives on playtime, and treats the outdoors like it’s her personal stage. Sunshine? Yes. Grass? Yes. Running around like she’s late to the chorus? Absolutely. Her missing leg does not slow her down—if anything, it adds to her main-character energy. And the voice. Oh, the voice. Luna doesn’t just bark—she sings. She howls. She performs. She hits notes you didn’t ask for but will absolutely grow to love. It’s giving tour dates. It’s giving encore.Playful, outgoing, and full of joy, Luna is the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something fun. She’d do great in a home with another dog, a yard to explore, and people who appreciate a little drama, a lot of personality, and a girl who knows she’s special.More information?
