Story
Notes from Churro's foster: This pup is one of a kind. With those stunning blue eyes and his radiant red and white coat making him very unique. He is slowly learning how to be a house dog. I don't believe he has lived in a true home his whole life because everything seemed so new to him. He is a well behaved dog that loves a lot of praise. If your looking for a dog that doesn't have to be next to you every second and never barks then he's your guy! He perfers to sleep alone on the couch. I have only heard him bark one time. He rarely makes any noise. He is great with older kids (8 and up). He loves his toys and can be guarded with them but has not shown any aggression with us. He still needs work with house breaking and leash walking. Once he gets those mastered he will be the perfect dog waiting for a perfect family to call his own.

Story
Hi, my name is Ashland and I am looking for a home to call my own. I didn't have the best start in life-I came from a hoarding case and was a nervous and anxious pup when first rescued. I have made a lot of progress in trusting humans again. However, I still have some anxiety and will need someone to slowly work with me in gaining my confidence back and teach me to trust again. I really am trying! I am about 3 years old and have already been spayed. Oh... and did I mention my eyes, they are one of my best features, they are a lovely light ice blue color. My favorite activity is doing zoomies in the back yard. I love to run fast and hard in big circles- over and over again. I think I have a lot of nervous energy. I am shy at first, but once I feel that I can trust you, I will come up to you and give you kisses and roll over so you can rub my belly. I have been known to be called the Belly Rub Queen! If you stop rubbing my belly, I will gently let you know with my paw that I would like you to continue. I had a few accidents in the house at first, but have now learned the routine of doing my business outside so my foster parents are quite pleased!! To help me learn how to be a pup, this is what I will need: Another 4 legged friend (about 40 lbs. or larger) in the home. The best way for me to learn to be a pup is to be with another pup that is active. I watch and imitate other pup's behaviors Preferably no cats or small dogs. Sometimes I don't understand my size when trying to play. A fenced in yard because I don't like leashes at all and talking walks outside scares me. I do best in a fenced in backyard where I feel safe in the space and can run freely. A quieter home and probably one without small children. Loud noises and sudden movement startle me. I am on anxiety medicine now and may need to continue that - my foster mon and I are trying to figure out what works best for me. I know this may sound like a lot, but I am worth it! I have so much love to give and just want a family to call my own!

Story
Nathan has been with his foster since August and is the perfect house guest. He is house trained, good with kids, cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. He walks well on a leash and weighs about 80 pounds. Nathan is not crated when home alone and sleeps on a dog bed at night. Nathan is nicknamed the stalker. He always has one eye on his foster mom! Nathans ideal home would be with a fur sibling and a family that is not gone long hours. Nathan is a mild mannered sweet boy that loves people, cuddling, toys and couch time. Adoption fees are $250 and Nathan is fully vetted!
