Daisy Maire is eager to continue learning! She loves to go for car rides, go on walks and will also love to just snuggle up and watch a movie with you! Meet Delta! 🐾 Delta is an adult male Husky with a vibrant, energetic personality and a heart full of love. Like many Huskies, Delta thrives on activity and will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced. Long walks, outdoor adventures, and interactive games are right up his alley. Delta is housebroken, crate trained, and already knows his basic commands—he’s eager to learn more and would enjoy continued training with a committed owner. Given his high energy and working breed background, Delta would do best with a family that can provide him with structure, consistency, and plenty of opportunities to stay active. He would do best in a home without other animals and with people who understand and appreciate the needs of an intelligent, active breed. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Say hello to Atlas! He is a 2 year old Husky mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Atlas is a handsome fellow, but he can be quite sensitive in nature. He arrived in our care after being tied to a tree abandoned, so he is still learning to trust new people and new places. Once he knows you, he is a sweet and snuggly boy who loves sticking close to his favorite people. He may not enjoy going on adventures with you or exploring outside of his comfort zone, but with his favorite people he is a total lovebug. Atlas absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in an environment where he can have a canine companion to help build his confidence. Since he is so social with other dogs, he would prefer a home that has another dog so he can have a constant companion. Due to his sensitivity, if there are kids in his forever home he would do best with kids ages 13 and older that can give him space while he`s becoming comfortable. Originally adopted from us two years ago, this sweet boy was recently surrendered when his owner could no longer provide for him. Now he’s looking for a loving family to give him the stable, happy life he deserves.Lucky is crate trained, housetrained, and very well-mannered. He knows several commands, including come, sit, lay down, paw, and trade/drop—especially helpful since he’s very food-motivated! Despite being a medium-energy dog, he has a calm, gentle presence and enjoys a nice balance of quiet time, toys, and leisurely walks.He’s also wonderfully social and friendly—great with dogs, cats, and children—making him an easy fit for many types of households.Lucky is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows you to welcome him into your home while we complete his full veterinary care, including updated vaccinations and a dental. Meet Siri Siri came into rescue after she whelped her pups in a cow barn. She was an excellent momma. After weaning her pups she needed to be treated for heartworms.. She has now finally been spayed and ready for a new home. She is dog selective. Does fine with younger pups and adult dogs that are not bouncing in her face or confronting her. She is not cat friendly. She is very people friendly and loves to go for walks. She would do best with children 10 yrs and older. Siri is about 3 yrs old and 65 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
