Story
Keelan is a 8 month old, 37#, Husky/German Shepherd mix! Keelan is a happy go lucky boy and has a zest for life. He's always smiling and does a great job keeping himself entertained! Although he does have a independent side, Keelan adores people and wants attention all the time. He loves daily walks, playing fetch and even playing with water from the hose! When we fill his kiddie pool in the morning, he jumps right in and plays with the water coming out of the hose. This dude is funny!

Story
Ziggy is a 4-year-9-month old Siberian Husky weighing 70 pounds. He came to the shelter due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. If you've never had a husky please do your homework before adopting one! Ziggy can be aloof when you first meet him. Time and attention will have him in your lap. He loves squeaky toys and plays well by himself. Is unsure with playing outside, tug or fetch are unknown to him. He is excited for walks but needs leash training and overall training in basic manners. He's very stubborn, (typical husky behavior)) knows commands but does what he pleases. Does well with strangers and car rides. Treat motivated & housebroken. Very fearful of veterinarian handling-sedation recommended. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday -Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. Also, be sure to check us out on FaceBook!

Story
Oden will be patiently waiting at the shelter for his forever family. Introducing Oden, a 4.5 year old Siberian Husky with a laid-back and easygoing personality. Oden enjoys taking leisurely walks and is great on a leash, making him an excellent companion for outdoor adventures. He gets alone well with both dogs and cats, showcasing his friendly and adaptable nature. One of Oden's favorite activities is being brushed, which helps keep his beautiful coat in top condition. However, he's a bit of an escape artist and can break out of standard crates, so he will need a heavy-duty crate to ensure his safety. With his calm demeanor and love for companionship, Oden is sure to be a wonderful addition to any active family looking for a loyal and loving friend. If you think Oden has stolen your heart, bring your family and canine companions to the shelter during open hours to meet him. Please note a meet and greet with other dogs in the home is required before adoption can be completed.
