Like his Star Wars character, Greedo is a comic! His unique look (but very handsome indeed!) coupled with his personality makes him a hot commodity! He is silly and entertaining. He will make you laugh and forget the bad day you just had. Saying his name or telling him he is a good boy is enough to send him dancing :) He tippy taps his feet, so cute! If you tippy tap with him, he will break out in zoomies :) Fact: Zoomies are a sign of happiness, so this makes us very happy to see him happy at even the slightest of engagement! Greedo loves being outside. He gets super excited when you take him outside. Sometimes, he goes straight into zoomies. Needless to say, he isn’t a very good walker, at least not the initial part of the walk. He is too excited to focus on his walk. Tip - let him get his zoomies out of the way first then he'll be yours for the walk! Off leash in a confined area, Greedo loves to run. He tries to beat the speed of wind. He says if you want to be a good bounty hunter, you must be fast. Even in the rain, he runs fast. Rain doesn’t bother him. Greedo takes his job very seriously! All that said about him, Greedo does have chill qualities and is super sweet and loving. He melts into you if you cradle him. He looks at you adoringly and will offer up a kiss or two :) Greedo is a year old, 34lb Husky mix. He is looking for an active home where there is an abundance of outside activities. A runner in the family would be ideal for him. He also need a human cuddler in the family as Greedo is super sweet and loving. He loves everyone he meets. Greedo is house and crate trained.

Meet Rocky. Saved from an overcrowded shelter in southern OH. A great dog. Rocky appears to maybe a Husky/Shepherd mix. He is about 2 years old and 50 lbs. Rocky appears to be dog friendly. We think he may do best in a cat free home. Rocky has been in a kennel way too long and is craving a home setting. He is a wonderful, friendly dog. He will need regular exercise and would be great as a jogging partner. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is heart worm negative. He did test positive for Lyme but has no clinical signs. Meet Tundra! This beautiful petite husky is 6 years and 36 lbs. Stunning is an understatement! Tundra is aptly named - her coat is white and black with some maple color on her tail. Tundra was a mill momma for many years but not any more. Tundra is fixed now and ready for life as a cherished pet! Pictures make Tundra look bigger than she is when you see her in person. Tundra is shy but learning how to be a dog by being exposed to many new things in life! She's progressing well. Tundra walks well on leash, and we have dog-tested her with another female TRI dog, Daphne, who is also on the passive side. They did well together. Meet Ghost!! Ghost is approximately 2 years old. He is a beautiful Siberian Husky weighing 40 lbs. Ghost was found as a stray. Love-A-Stray had him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic. Ghost's foster said he is really a wonderful dog! He is housebroken and knows a few basic commands. His foster has offered to take Ghost to obedience training, and he will be evaluated with other dogs as well. Stay tuned for updates. Ghost has dark ice-blue eyes, and he often looks like he is smiling when taking a walk--he LOVES to go for trail walks and does well on lead. Ghost also loves to ride in the car. He is a pleaser and thrives on praise and is very trainable. We always suggest adopters are familiar with the Husky. A fenced in yard is preferred for this active breed and a really good vacuum cleaner since they do shed LOL. I acquired Jasper when he was 8 weeks old. He is currently 7 years old. He's been my best friend through late teenage years to young adulthood and he truly is a loving companion. He is very affectionate, absolutely is a sucker for pets any time, and will literally throw himself at you if he wants your attention. He's not extremely vocal, but he's also not super quiet. I say this because I've seen huskies that can be way more noisy than him but he does have the potential to express his sassiness when he wants to. He enjoys long walks and places he can run around in and explore. He knows basic commands like: sit, paw, speak, lay down, and come here. I am looking for a home for him that preferably has a yard and room for him to roam around. I would love for him to be adopted by people who have experience with owning animals and will have enough time and patience for him. He is also epileptic and has been since the age of 3, but does not have seizures very often.

Kyro, our 18 month old Akita is searching for his forever home! Now is the perfect time to get him into a family that we know he will be so loyal to. He’s a neutered male who weighed 74lbs a couple weeks ago but has some room to grow still. He is vaccinated, microchipped, negative for heart worm and tick borne diseases. Now that we have his basic facts out of the way, let’s get to what his perfect home looks like! The best home for Kyro is one who is familiar with or at minimum, does research and gets to know the breed. Maybe you’re someone who is allergic to cats and could never have one, but could go for a cat-like dog in a larger body? That’s Kyro for you! While he can’t live with cats (or squirrels!), he will play and act like one. He’s good for some drive by attention. Give him some pets and he’ll be off on his way to continue exploring. He may even entertain himself with his toys while you’re doing stuff around the house. He super loves balls so bonus points for keeping those in the house! Later on he’ll lovingly watch you from the window if you dared to go outside without him. Big perk of him not actually being a cat? He goes to the bathroom outside! 100% of the time as he loves having a clean and tidy kennel. There’s also no risk of him scratching up your favorite ottoman or walking on your kitchen table since again he’s an Akita, not A-Kitty. The dog part of his personality does have a request. It’s quite simple though, in that he’d prefer a dog friend to be of the lady variety. He can be a bit of the rough and tumble type when it comes to playtime with dogs, so just make note of that!
