Story
🥥❄️ Meet Coconut!! ❄️🥥 (Yes, she’s sweet… but also comes with ✨advanced settings✨) Coconut came in as a stray on 3/27/26, and we think she’s about 2 years old. She’s got that classic Husky vibe—a little mysterious at first, like she’s deciding if you’re worthy of her inner circle. Give her a little time, patience, and respect, and suddenly… 💥 PERSONALITY UNLOCKED. Once she trusts you, Coconut is playful, fun, and full of life—the kind of dog who will keep you entertained daily. But let’s talk about the Husky fine print (because she absolutely read the manual and expects you to as well): 🧠 Brain of a genius, attention span of a squirrel 🏃‍♀️ Energy level: “let’s go again” 🎭 Will create her own fun if you don’t provide it (you may not like her choices) Huskies like Coconut NEED both mental AND physical exercise to thrive. We’re talking: Daily walks/runs (not optional… she said so) Puzzle toys, training sessions, enrichment activities Structure, consistency, and someone who enjoys an active lifestyle If those needs aren’t met, she’ll simply take matters into her own paws… redecorating, remodeling, and possibly narrating her feelings at full volume 🎤🐺 💫 The good stuff: Super fun and playful once she bonds Smart and engaging Worth the patience it takes to earn her trust 💫 The ideal home: Someone patient who will let her warm up at her own pace An active human (or family) ready to keep her busy Someone who understands Huskies are not “low effort”… they are a lifestyle If you’re ready for a smart, energetic, slightly dramatic best friend who will absolutely keep life interesting, Coconut might be your perfect match. 🥥💙 📍 Coconut is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 📧 dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov (application required) ✨ Take your time with her—you’ll be glad you did! ✨

👑 ALL RISE FOR SIR NOBLE 👑 Meet Noble!! He came in as a stray on 2/10/26, and we think he’s about a year old. And let us just say… the name fits. This boy is royalty-level handsome. Like, stop-scrolling, zoom-in-on-the-face, “HOW are you still single?” gorgeous. 😍 But he’s not just a pretty face. Oh no. Noble is the full package. The second he hit the playroom, he was READY. TO. PARTY. 🎉 Toys? Yes. Zoomies? Absolutely. Fun? Non-stop. He’s playful, happy, and lives life like every day is the best day ever. On leash? A total gentleman. He walks great and makes strolls feel like a royal parade. 👑🐾 Cuddles? Yes please. He’s happy to snuggle up after playtime. Treats? Also yes please. (He is very open to snack donations at any time.) Super friendly. Super fun. Super lovable. Basically, Noble is the kind of dog you meet once and immediately start rearranging your living room for. He is available for adoption, so don’t delay — your kingdom is missing its king! 📍 Noble is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield 📞 419-774-5892 📧 It is an application process. Story
Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Story
Draco is a 2 yr old Male Husky. He is very friendly. But does not do well with other animals. He was adopted and returned due to not being housebroken. Draco is probably one of the most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. He would need a home without other animals and would need training on the housebreaking and basic manners. Draco is the most affectionate boy there is, he will sit at your feet forever as long as you are rubbing his belly or rubbing his ears. He looks as if he is always smiling. Draco has 2 favorite squeaky pig toys that he likes to carry around. Come in and meet this handsome always smiling boy today. Story
He is such a sweet boy! I love him dearly but unfortunately he is not welcome at my apartment complex as new management doesn’t allow huskies so I have to rehome him. I also just don’t have the time for the amount of energy he has. I work 12 hour days and can’t bring him with me. Please take good care of my baby.
