Story
Here is a heartwarming adoption biography for your female dog, Sakari: Sakari is a young female dog with many endearing qualities. We rescued her from an abusive home at 3 months old and she came to us very scared and very neglected .She is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, dignified, and a couch potato when the time calls for it. She's quiet, but never shy of showing her loved ones affection with sweet doggy kisses once she breaks out of her shell. She is good with other dogs her size and would be a great addition to any family. Sakari does not like cats, as she will chase them. She is a well-rounded dog with many unique personality traits. She is young and has many years of love and companionship to offer to her future family. We hope Sakari finds her forever home filled with love, warmth, and belly scratches very soon! If you are interested in meeting her, please go directly to our website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete an adoption application.

Story
Hi! My name is Eclipse! I was saved from a high kill shelter in Apple Valley, CA. I’m 3 months old, up to date on my vaccines, spayed and microchipped! I have big brown eyes and mixed with a smaller breed so my rescue mommy doesn’t think I’ll get very big. I’m very playful, athletic, super sweet and need an active home. I’m potty pad and crate trained too! I love hugs and kisses and I love my squeaker toys. Especially my little ducky! I get along with everyone! I have a big personality and I’m kinda goofy. Everyone who meets me loves me. They say I’m the perfect family doggy and would be a wonderful addition to any home! I’m super fun! If you could be my perfect forever home, please go directly to my rescues website to complete an adoption application for me! savingonepawatatimerescue.org I’m super excited to meet you! Love, Eclipse

Story
Hi, I'm Nina, a 12-year-old Alaskan Shepherd/Husky mix, and I'm best buds with Pace, a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix. I might be a bit older, but I've got plenty of love and energy to share! During the day, I enjoy lounging around and taking naps, but I'll definitely let you know when I need to go out or want some attention. Despite being a husky, I'm not aloof at all. I love being brushed and sitting outside with my person - it's one of my favorite pastimes. I'm crate trained and sleep comfortably in my crate at night, though I also enjoy sleeping outside of it too. I'm great with kids and other people once I get to know you. I'm housetrained and know basic commands, especially when treats are involved. I'm a smart cookie and will check the yard for any escape routes, so it's important that fences and gates are secure. I enjoy going for a mile walk twice a day, and I could even go longer, but my human gets tired. On walks, my husky side really comes out - I like to be in front a little and can get easily distracted by other dogs or cats. I don't like being outside alone for long periods, and I really don't get along with cats. If given the chance, I might chase chickens too. Pace and I are looking for a forever home where we can stay together. He's got the youthful energy, and I bring the calm, wise companionship. Together, we'll bring so much joy and love to your life.

Story
** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Hi, I'm Bella! I have been a bit nervous since arriving at the shelter. I will need a home that will be patient with me because I take a bit to warm up to people. Once I do, I really enjoy snuggles and cuddles! I'm about 8 years old and weigh 57 pounds.Do you like...Dogs? Based on previous history, I am looking to be the only dog in the home. Cats? While I have no known history with kitties, staff suspect I may do best in a home without felines or other small animals due to my prey drive. Kids? I've lived with younger children previously but would prefer kiddos who can understand my boundaries and appropriately interact with me. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
