Story
Adoption Fee: $210Weight: 44.2lbsArrival Date: 8/5/26Microchip #: 941010004222047Kodiak likes to take a little time getting to know new people and places, but once he settles in, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through. He enjoys making friends at his own pace and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts.Kodiak is looking for a family who will give him the chance to feel comfortable and be himself. In return, you`ll gain a devoted companion who will be by your side through all of life`s adventures.Kodiak would do best in a home without small farm animals, especially birds, as his instincts make them a poor match. He`s also quite the escape artist and should never be left unattended outdoors unless he`s securely on a leash or in a safely enclosed area.If you`re looking for a kind-hearted best friend with plenty of love to give, Kodiak might just be your perfect match.

Story
Jake is approximately two and a half years old and came from a shelter situation in Huron, Ca. I was told he likely spent much of his early life confined to a cage, so he is shy and slow to trust new people. He is non-aggressive and very sweet once he bonds with someone.I have worked with him and his sister Maggie every day, and they have both made progress. Jake can walk on a leash and knows simple commands, but he is still nervous around new people particularly men.Jake is very bonded with Maggie and they are inseparable. They sleep together, look for each other when separated, and are much more confident together, so they should be placed in a home together.I have a larger property and it's very hard to keep them in the fence. Our neighbors have complained to the county so I must find a new home as I cannot keep them tied up all the time. I am trying to find the right placement for both of them together.

Story
Maggie is approximately 2 1/2 years old and came from a shelter situation in Huron, Ca. I was told she likely spent much of her early life confined to a cage, so she is shy and anxious and slow to trust new people. She is not aggressive, but she is very fearful and will retreat when scared. I have worked with her and her brother Jake every day, and she has made progress and bonded closely with me. She has learned to walk on a leash and is slowly gaining confidence, but she is still very nervous around new people, particularly men. Maggie is very bonded with Jake and they are inseparable. They rely on each other for comfort and confidence, so they should be placed in a home together. I have a larger property and it's very hard to keep them in the fence. Story
Luna is a spunky and loving 6 year old Husky. I think she is pure bred, but not 100% sure of that. She loves other dogs. She is good with people. She gets excited at first, but simmers down quickly. She was an outside dog, but I had to move and can't bring her with me, so she has been staying with friends has been an inside dog the past 10 months. She is not trained. She can shake and sit and some minor commands, but she was not formally trained.
