Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own. She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her. She is crate trained and just fine. She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings. As cute as she is, they are not interested. The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day. Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection. She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady! Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her. She is a beauty. A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed. She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way. Athena is a 4-year-old Husky. She was rescued from ACCT on February 1st, severely emaciated at just 25 lbs. Today, she’s transformed into a happy, spunky girl who’s ready to find her forever home! Athena is dog-friendly and does well with older kids (she’s still working on her jumping, so little ones might get knocked over). She enjoys her walks, does well on a leash, and loves exploring the yard. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, she warms up and shows her sweet personality. Athena does have a strong prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals like rabbits would be best. Athena will be spayed before she is adopted.

Prescott is a 4-yr old Alaskan Husky (smaller breed than the Siberian Husky, not a purebred Husky) built as a working dog. Prescott is happiest when he has something to do! Prescott was timestamped at a shelter in Maryland, HTHNBR rescue was able to pull him to safety before his time ran out. He already has his neuter appointment scheduled and will be getting all the care he needs before he’s ready for his forever home. Prescott has shown he can be with cats, however he is reactive to outdoor wildlife. With other dogs, he gets along with them and is currently learning to stand his ground with our pack.
