Story
We adopted Koda 8 yrs. ago from the animal rescue league when he was 2yrs. old. He may be 10yrs. old but has energy like a 4 or 5 yr. old. He is beautiful German Shepard/Husky and very friendly. He loves people who visit. He has been pretty happy in our home/small yard but would be much happier with land to run on. He loves people and other animals. We have learned a lot about this breed and now understand that they are meant to be busy or get good exercise. They like to have something to do. They need to be brushed often or groomed. He currently lives with an older dog and 2 cats. He has grown up with 2 kids who are now teenagers. He barks on occasion when dogs walk by our house but has never growled or bitten anyone/animal. He needs land to run around and exercise so he doesn't get bored but he is also is very loyal and wants his person to be close and loves to sleep on the floor next to your bed at night.

Story
Meet Ang, a young Husky / Shepherd mix who may have had a rough start in life, but she's ready to leave the past behind and embrace the bright future she deserves. Ang is intelligent, adventurous, playful, and incredibly loyal to her people. She loves being part of the action, enjoys exploring new places, and would make an amazing companion for someone who loves hiking, camping, long walks, or simply getting outside. Huskies are known for their fun-loving personalities, and Ang is no exception—she brings joy and enthusiasm wherever she goes. Ang also has one of the breed's most endearing traits—she loves to "talk!" Whether she's excited, wants your attention, or simply has an opinion to share, she'll happily chat with you. And if she thinks you've disappointed her, don't worry—she'll be sure to let you know with her adorable Husky commentary before she's ready to forgive you. One of Ang's favorite things is showing affection. She's a world-class hug giver and is always happy to shower her favorite people with kisses. After a day of adventures, she's just as content soaking up attention and spending time with her family. Ang is looking for a home that will appreciate her active spirit, continue to teach her new things, and include her in life's adventures. In return, she'll reward you with endless love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Ang is looking for a foster home or an adoptive home! Questions? Email us at mostlymuttz@gmail.com www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Ang’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2746022&name=Ang Ang is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with her, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information and Ang’s name, and her foster or volunteer will be in touch. ##2746022##

Story
This beautiful Husky mix has had a rough few weeks, but she’s ready to leave the past behind and begin a brighter chapter with a family who will love her unconditionally. Pepper’s journey started when she was left behind in a neighborhood, where some kind-hearted people made sure she was safe and cared for. She quickly became a favorite among everyone she met—especially the kids, who she absolutely adored! When Pepper arrived at the shelter, her gentle and loving nature stole everyone’s hearts. Unfortunately, she experienced a scary moment when another dog attacked her through their  loo shared kennel. Thankfully, her injuries were minor, and with the care and comfort of her southern foster family, she healed beautifully. Now fully recovered, Pepper is ready to make the trip north and find her forever home. She’s affectionate, well-mannered, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Pepper rides calmly in the car, is crate trained, and loves to share kisses. No fenced yard required — just love and companionship. Pepper looking for a foster home or better yet - a foster to adopt home! She is located in a foster home down south. We provide transport to bring her north and an interested adopter would have a two week foster to adopt period to ensure she’s the right fit.
