Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella lives in Alabama, Foster Home and will transport North when she is adopted. We strive to make every Adoption as smooth and easy as possible. We have been adopting dogs to families in New England for over 15 years. Ella is 3 1/2 years old. She weighs about 63 pounds. She lives in a Foster Home with a working couple and other dogs. She is a dominant female husky. She will do well as the only dog or she's do well with a submissive male. Ella is an active dog. She enjoys her walks and weekend hikes with her Foster Mom. We would require a fenced yard for her because she is an active dog. She has not lived with children that we are aware of so we prefer a home with either no children or teenagers. We look forward to putting you in touch with our Foster family. Ella is spayed, rabies, up-to-date on vaccines, microchip, dewormed, and receiving monthly parasite prevention. $585 total Adoption fee $345 to the Rescue $175 Transport, we don't own the van $65 Vet check and health certificate Serious Adapter should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you ASAP.
We'll also keep you updated on Ella's adoption status with email updates.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Truffle is a 4-year-old love bug with the sweetest soul and the kind of face you’ll fall for instantly—just one look into those eyes and you’re hooked! This beautiful girl is all about connection, affection, and being close to her people. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and some gentle reassurance, and you’ll quickly see her warm, loving personality shine through. Once she feels comfortable, Truffle truly blossoms and becomes an affectionate, devoted companion. She would absolutely love a home with a yard where she can roll around in the grass, soak up the sunshine, and happily chew on a bone during a relaxing afternoon. It’s her idea of pure bliss! At 4 years old, she’s the perfect balance of playful and settled—past the puppy chaos but still full of life and love to give. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will shower you with affection and be your constant companion, Truffle is your girl. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 304-283-0066.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2026, 11:57 pm

Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with striking amber eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. She’s wonderfully goofy — full of silly antics, playful energy, and that classic “husky talk” that makes her impossible not to smile at. She loves people, so expect plenty of affection, snuggles, and a sweet shadow who likes to be nearby. Lola has moderate to high energy and would do great in a home that can give her a bit of daily activity — whether that’s walks, playtime, or a canine buddy to help her burn off some zoomies. She’s friendly with kids and other dogs, though she’d do best in a home without cats, as her instincts may tempt her to chase. Lola is crate trained, progressing nicely with house training, and is already spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and lots of personality to her forever home.

Story
Luna is a sweet girl. She loves running and playing as much as she loves taking a nap and relaxing. She will be 3 Sept 3 of this year. We have had her since she was two months old. She loves kids. She loves hugs and she loves cuddling. We had her put through a training facility for around $3000. She does auto sit for meals and drinks. She is also trained for auto sit at the doors. We give the command OK for her to eat and to leave the outside of the door. We were living on a big property with a huge backyard for about a decade that we unfortunately spontaneously had to leave and we currently do not have a yard or anything, and she has been pretty miserable the last year. We just want her to be happy and have a property with a yard where she can run around and have fun and easy access to In-N-Out. She really is the best and she deserves the best.

Story
Meet Jackie — a cuddly two-month-old husky mix who brings an overwhelming amount of confidence with her everywhere she goes!  Jackie is the sweetest girl — and she knows it! She’s a social butterfly who’s pretty sure everyone wants to be her best friend. She works overtime to get the bigger dogs in her foster home to play with her, crawling all over them. Jackie has zero fear, and thankfully she has some very patient doggy friends. Jackie also loves all humans and will immediately crawl in your lap. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes. If her foster mom leaves the room, Jackie snuggles up by the door and waits for her to return. Jackie’s foster family also calls her Kitty Kat because of her cat-like tendencies. Jackie’s movements are very stealth. One minute she’s over there, and the next minute she’s right at your feet and you never saw her approach. She’s light on her feet, and at her current size, she really does look like a cat when you see her walking from behind. We predict Jackie will be less than 50 lbs when full grown. She currently weighs only 9 lbs at around 10 weeks old.  Jackie is amazingly already potty trained at such a young age. She has had zero accidents in her foster home. She will go to the door and whine if she needs to go outside. Or if she’s in her crate at night, she will whine to let you know that she needs to potty. Jackie is working on crate training and has made great progress, although she would always prefer to take a nap somewhere outside of the crate. She’s got a very thick coat and enjoys the coolness of a wood floor.  Jackie’s perfect forever home would have a human who has lots of time to spend with her, perhaps someone who works from home or is newly retired. She wants to be with you as much as possible. A doggy sibling who likes to play would be an added bonus. A securely fenced yard is also essential as she definitely has husky-like tendencies, or a home that’s willing to take her on lots of walks and always keep her safe on a leash. We have a feeling Jackie will love to explore the world and use her charm to make friends everywhere she goes.  Apply today if you can provide sweet and social Jackie the forever home she deserves.
