Story
Meet Samy! Samy is sweet affectionate boy with a dash of charming husky drama to spice things up. Want a dog who will throw a full on temper tantrum if you are five minutes late to his scheduled walk? Samy tempers that tantrum with pride and he won't even make things easy for you by staying still while you harness him. Once you've managed to wear him out a little, Samy is all cuddles and oh does he cuddle well. Ignore the tufts of fur that covers your clothing after a good Samy snuggle, it's only a mark of being loved by a dog. As a proud representative of his breed, Samy promises to ensure his adopters experience years of love, loyalty, silliness, fur (absolutely everywhere. Nothing is safe from a husky blowing their winter coat), drama, and lots and lots of howls and long awooooooos **if you are interested in Samy, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours**

Story
❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Lobo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his new life. Story
Meet Jackie — a cuddly two-month-old husky mix who brings an overwhelming amount of confidence with her everywhere she goes!  Jackie is the sweetest girl — and she knows it! She’s a social butterfly who’s pretty sure everyone wants to be her best friend. She works overtime to get the bigger dogs in her foster home to play with her, crawling all over them. Jackie has zero fear, and thankfully she has some very patient doggy friends. Jackie also loves all humans and will immediately crawl in your lap. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes. If her foster mom leaves the room, Jackie snuggles up by the door and waits for her to return. Jackie’s foster family also calls her Kitty Kat because of her cat-like tendencies. Jackie’s movements are very stealth. One minute she’s over there, and the next minute she’s right at your feet and you never saw her approach. She’s light on her feet, and at her current size, she really does look like a cat when you see her walking from behind. We predict Jackie will be less than 50 lbs when full grown. She currently weighs only 9 lbs at around 10 weeks old.  Jackie is amazingly already potty trained at such a young age. She has had zero accidents in her foster home. She will go to the door and whine if she needs to go outside. Or if she’s in her crate at night, she will whine to let you know that she needs to potty. Jackie is working on crate training and has made great progress, although she would always prefer to take a nap somewhere outside of the crate. She’s got a very thick coat and enjoys the coolness of a wood floor.  Jackie’s perfect forever home would have a human who has lots of time to spend with her, perhaps someone who works from home or is newly retired. She wants to be with you as much as possible. A doggy sibling who likes to play would be an added bonus. A securely fenced yard is also essential as she definitely has husky-like tendencies, or a home that’s willing to take her on lots of walks and always keep her safe on a leash. We have a feeling Jackie will love to explore the world and use her charm to make friends everywhere she goes.  Apply today if you can provide sweet and social Jackie the forever home she deserves. Story
Meet Simon — a gorgeous Husky puppy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This handsome boy is full of playful energy and is always ready for his next adventure. Whether it’s going for walks, chasing balls, exploring the outdoors, or romping around with other dogs, Simon is happiest when he’s on the move. Simon is great with other dogs and has done well with the cat in his foster home too. He’s currently working hard on house training and doing very well! While crates aren’t really his favorite thing, he’s not destructive… unless you leave a flip flop within reach — those are simply too tempting for this playful pup! Simon would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his fun-loving spirit and continue helping him learn and grow. A fenced yard is a must for this energetic boy so he has plenty of room to run, play, and burn off that Husky energy. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy with puppy charm for days, Simon may just be your perfect match!
