Story
ARNIE IS IN CT Arnie is a sweet, cuddly boy who is about 48lbs and 11 months old. He is looking for a family that is active as he is a higher energy boy, but also a family to snuggle with at night. He loves to play ball and other toy related activities outside, go on walks and had enjoyed doggy daycare when he was a southern pup. He is a good car rider and over all good boy! Given his higher puppy energy, we think he is better suited to a family with older children His foster family says he is through the puppy stages but still enough of a puppy that he can do goofy puppy things that makes them laugh. He is very food motivated and smart, so would take to any training a family does very quickly. Arnie is good at entertaining himself with a ball by playing soccer or bouncing it around on his own, very cute! At night he sleeps in a dog bed in the bedroom. . Arnie is crate trained, house broken, neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on all vetting. If you would like to make this fun loving pup a part of your family please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com for an application.

Story
Meet the most affectionate, playful, and curious puppies, siblings Erian, Evan, and Elysia. These babies are your typical pups that thoroughly enjoy playtime, full bellies, and lots of love. These precious ones had a heartbreaking start to life. They were found huddled together in the middle of a quiet country road, so small they were first mistaken for fallen branches and leaves. At just around six weeks old, they were covered in fleas and ticks and were desperately hungry. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and are now safe, warm, and thriving in foster care. They start each morning with food, outdoor play, and soak up plenty of snuggles throughout the day. Because they are so young, they are highly adaptable. A household with children and/or other dogs would be a wonderful fit, as they love to play and would benefit from having companions to grow up with. Most of all, they’re looking for safe, loving family who will be dedicated to giving them immediate proper puppy training to set them up for success, support socialization, and build a strong bond with their new people. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Name: Erian Breed: Husky/ShepherdSex: Female Age: 11 weeksWeight: 13lbSpayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Say hello to Paris! This vibrant girl is the absolute life of the party, and she’s looking for a family that can keep up with her playful spirit. She was brought to a shelter in MS months ago and never claimed. She was immediately ready to charm everyone she met! With her medium-high energy level, she loves to jump around and play, so she’ll need someone who can provide plenty of exercise and engagement. When it comes to other dogs, Paris is overly playful and wants to jump, bounce, and stay engaged. She would do best with a canine companion who tolerates and enjoys active play and can keep up with her fun-loving energy. While her leash manners could use some work, she wants to please, so will listen and learn. Paris is truly a sweetheart who deserves a loving home. She is ready to bring joy to your life. If you’re ready for a fun-loving companion, Paris is waiting to steal your heart!Name: ParisBreed: Husky MixSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 48.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: Unknown, but probably not due to her level of excitability.Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Meet Toby!Toby is ready for his next big journey, Toby is a fun-loving, adventure-seeking husky with a zest for life. Like many huskies, he’s curious, energetic, and happiest when he’s out exploring the world with his people.Toby is friendly and gentle, and does great with other dogs—he’d love a canine companion or regular playdates. He walks well on a leash, travels nicely, is house-trained, and crate trained, making him a wonderful companion both at home and on the go. Whether it’s walks, hikes, car rides, patio hangouts, or new sniffing adventures, Toby is always ready to join in.Cats, however, are a no-go for Toby. He’s genuinely terrified of them, likely due to a past experience, so a cat-free home is needed.Toby’s history includes living in a busy home with multiple children. Unfortunately, he’s also an escape artist—he cannot be left unattended in a yard, as he will find his own adventure. Because of this, he’s looking for a home where he’s truly included in daily life rather than left outside alone. An active individual or family who understands the husky lifestyle and wants to make Toby part of their adventures. He needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation to thrive—and in return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, joy, and an infectious enthusiasm for life.Toby is ready to find a home that will embrace his spirit and keep him safely by their side on every adventure.Name: TobyBreed: HuskySex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 55lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over age 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    New EnglandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Adam is a 7 year old, male, Husky mixed breed. His face tells a story before he ever makes a sound. The scars across his muzzle hint at a rough life as a stray down South, yet his eyes are gentle and full of hope, and his tail still manages a soft wag whenever someone says hi to him. A medical workup is currently underway as we evaluate a possible leg fracture, and we expect to know more soon. None of this has dampened his spirit. He leans in for comfort, enjoys being near people, and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. Staff and volunteers have fallen for him quickly, moved by his resilience and the softness beneath his weathered exterior. Adam’s past may have been difficult, but his heart remains wide open. He is ready for love, comfort, and a home that will treasure the gentle dog he has always been.
