Shadow is a gorgeous Husky-Malamute mix with a heart as big as his paws! After being spotted wandering around town multiple times, a kind person finally stepped up to give him a safe place and asked for help finding him the home he truly deserves.
This friendly, active boy is full of energy and would love an adventurous family to keep up with him. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he’d do best in a home with older kids who won’t be easily knocked over. Shadow loves doggy daycare, gets along well with other dogs, and is incredibly smart. Like most Huskies, he will thrive with structure and activity, so a family with Husky experience would be ideal.
A tall fenced yard would be great for him to run and play safely. Shadow has been let down by people in the past, but we know the right family is out there—one who will love him, keep him safe, and include him in their lives forever.
Shadow is around 2 years old and weighs about 74bs.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
