He is six months old and they were told these peer Jack Russell terrier but he looks to be mixed with beagle possibly. He was house trained, crate, trained, and knows basic commands. Very happy little fellow who would make a wonderful addition to your home. He is currently located in Harrison Arkansas with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue but will be brought to you via the rescue network transport. Ash came to our Connecticut rescue after being owner-surrendered to a southern shelter and transported north for a second chance. He’s now ready to find a home that truly understands — and appreciates — his lively, spirited nature. This Beagle–Jack Russell Terrier mix brings the best (and boldest!) of both worlds. He is a pint-sized boy at 16 pounds, and at 2 years old: his puppy mojo still shines. Ash loves to play, thrives on activity, and approaches life at full speed. He’s confident, clever, and yes — he has a bossy streak that shows his strong personality and classic JRT intensity. Ash will do best with adopters who can meet his exercise needs (walks, play sessions, enrichment) and who can provide consistent leadership and clear boundaries. He’s not a couch potato — Ash wants to do things with his people. In the right home, with structure and outlets for his energy, he’ll shine as a loyal, entertaining, and deeply bonded companion. Ash isn’t looking for just any home — he’s looking for the right one. A home that sees his drive and personality not as flaws, but as potential. After being fostered for nearly a year and undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms, I’m pleased to announce that Apple is now heartworm negative and available for adoption! She weighs under 25 pounds, is potty trained, crate trained, and does know some commands. In addition to many positive traits, she’s also the most loving and affectionate little girl. Makes the perfect little lap dog.  She loves kids and gets along great with cats!  Apple is fully vetted: spayed, up to date on annual vaccines, and heartworm negative! She appears to have terrier and Chihuahua in her. As much as she loves people, she’s very dog selective and is nervous around big dogs. So a single dog household would probably be best.   We believe that she’s about two years old. Her adoption fee locally is $175. Available for adoption! Greetings, Jack here! You should know I still act like a puppy and full of puppy energy. But I would love to cuddle and have a treat as well.   I have learned that I do not have too bark "me first" when meals are served as I know my bowl is coming if I just wait. I would love to have a fenced in yard (not electric) to run & play in with my furever family. (Kids would be a plus as we could wear each other out but no cats please, they scare me). So, if you can open your heart & home I will promise you unconditional love! I had a playdate with new furfriends, Jimmy & Ollie, and their Mom said I was a very good boy and easy to have as a guest and would be a great addition to any family Please send an email to the Rescue (WOW.Rescue@yahoo.com) for information & an application for my adoption.
