Meet Fred Murphy This 10 month old hunk of ! a fellow may be small at 15 pounds, but he's packed with personality! Fred is a curious, high-energy boy who loves to explore, play and keep tabs on everything happening around him. He's happiest when he has plenty of toys to toss around and other dogs to romp with-he gets along great with canine friends. Fred was found as a stray and is still learning a few of his manners. He's mostly potty trained (loves the doggy door) and working on leash walking, but his enthusiasm for life sometimes takes over. Since he's part Jack Russell, he's quick, clever, and not above a little mischief...so anything left on the floor is fair game in his book! When playtime winds down, Fred becomes a total snuggle bug who loves curling up with his people for some quiet time. He has not been cat tested yet, but he loves making new friends. Ainsley is a darling, sweet purebred Jack Russel Terrier, l that would love nothing more than to keep someone's lap warm. She's a tiny lady weighing 11 lbs. She gets along great with other dogs and loves people. She LOVES to snuggle and be held. She is very energetic and loves playing with her toys. Welcome Oliver to CCPAL Rescue. Oliver is an 8-month old Jack Rat (Jack Russell/Rat Terrier). He is about 12 pounds and is a small dog with a scruffy and wire-haired coat. He is a lower shedding dog and would make a great walking companion. He is confident, social, outgoing, affectionate and adorable. He isn’t clingy but likes being held and is great with other dogs. He is in the puppy play group with girls, boys and dogs bigger and older than him. I would think his breed would love to chase squirrels out of the yard. He is good in his kennel and not overly vocal. He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered and ready for his forever home soon. He is adorable. He would be fine as a family dog with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is fine with baths and nail trims. He is learning leash manners. Sparkle was surrendered when her family moved out of state. She was found 4 years earlier as a stray. She originally came in with a submissive maltipoo that always let her eat first. She has learned to eat from her own bowl and eats with 5 other small dogs without any aggressive behavior. She is a sweet affectionate little girl that loves walks and car rides. So if you are in an apartment, thicker walls or cool neighbors would be best. She hasn’t been around small children but she has been fine around teens! Meet Lucky, a sweet and spunky ~3 year old neutered male rat terrier mix/Jack Russell terrier mix, weighing about 15lbs.  Lucky is a friendly, loving boy who gets along well with other dogs, people, and kids. He likes cats but he does chase them, so a cat free home (or one with dog savvy cats) would probably be best for him. He would also LOVE a fenced in yard of his own, as he loves to run and get his zoomies out!  From Lucky: "My name is Lucky, my foster mom calls me Loki and I answer to both. I am a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell  mix and I have energy to spare so if you have a fenced in yard I am the pup for you. I am very loving, affectionate and a happy boy.  If you let me, I can be your lap pup. I love to love you and crave your attention. I’m good with other pups and will play with them but I would like a buddy that’s bigger than me or I can be your only one and will enjoy every minute you give me. I love to go for walks and I get excited when you get my leash. I am potty trained and do best on a regular schedule.
