He enjoys spending time outside and will happily take care of his business, though he’ll need a watchful eye as he’s still working on perfecting his house manners. Belly bands have been a helpful tool for him in the meantime.This handsome guy has a bit of an independent streak—he likes being outdoors so much that coming back inside can take a little encouragement. Sometimes a tasty treat like lunch meat or cheese does the trick, but not always—Billie Bob likes to keep you guessing!When meeting new people, Billie Bob can be shy and timid at first. He needs a patient, understanding home that will give him the time and space to build trust. Once he warms up, though, his sweet nature truly shines.Billie Bob is crate trained and has done well around other dogs, especially during his time at the vet. While his experience with cats is limited, he didn’t seem bothered by a feline friend wandering nearby. He also appears to do just fine around children, including his current family’s grandchildren.At around 6 years old, this charming mixed-breed boy is ready to find a calm, loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe. Meet Bagel, an adorable small breed mixed puppy ready to steal your heart! At 12 weeks old and only about 10 pounds, this boy is pure joy! He’s loving play time and working on learning basic manners, house training and crate training. He is currently living in a home with young kids (four and three years old), cats and a dog. Perfect for a family seeking a playful companion, Bagel is eager to find his forever home!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. This story is a sad one, This is Chester who is bonded with his brother Shorty. They lost there mom who suddenly passed away from a stroke. In a matter of a week, she was gone. She loved her pups, and she had 5 little guys. These two are a bonded pair. Chester and Shorty. They are Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix. Chester looks like the Chihuahua in the face and Shorty looks like the Jack Russell. They are very good mannered. They do like to run if given a chance probably Jack Russell in them. They are housebroken. They never really spent much time in a crate. There Human mom didn't like it They slept in bed with her. They have been around cats as well. They would do good with a fenced in yard. They are being vetted as well as they will need neutered. The daughter is not able to keep them all as there are 3 other ones who are older plus cats. She can only keep so many. These two pups are lost if the other one is not around them. They must go together. Bark Animal rescue is helping to get these two to safety and to a new furever home so they can not worry anymore. Adoption app and fee for the boys. This sweet pup is bonded with his brother Chester as they both have lost there Human mom suddenly to a stroke. They are lost without each other. They must go together as they have always been together. They are approx 5. They are getting ready to be vetted as well. They will also need neutered. They are housebroke. They have been around other pups and Cats. They would do best with a fenced in yard as they like to take off. Jack Russeel coming out in them. They are cross of Jack Russell and CHihua Chester looks more like Chiuah in face and Shorty looks more like Jack Russell in face. They love to sleep with there human mom. They have never had to be put in a cage. THey are very good mannered. They are both looking for there fuever home to spend the rest of there life now. If you want to make them apart of your family please contact BARK ANIMAL RESCUE in Greenville Ohio as we are helping the daughter to rehome these two brothers.
