Story
Meet Lucy, Lucy came to me last year through the death of a family member. She was first my aunts, then when she passed in 2018 Lucy was taken in by my grandfather who passed last year. I kept Lucy so she would not go to the pound, however she does not tolerate my small children well and it is becoming an issue having them separate all the time. It isn’t fair to Lucy to be crated so much, and it is not safe for my kids. Lucy is great with adults and older kids. She has never bitten. She loves car rides and playing. Lucy has lots of life left and is in good health!

Story
Barry is a little diesel engine of love; he takes a long time to warm up but once he does, his little love motor will run forever! A roughly 3-year-old 20lbs Rat terrier is a spunky little fellow once he gets to know you. We believe he has suffered some abuse in the past; he is missing a few of his front teeth and takes a long time to build trust, particularly with men. Smart and quirky, Barry is house trained and very communicative. He does well in the car and on walkies. Tricks are limited, but he is quite food motivated and loves his fruits and veggies. He is also rather self-contained; he will play, take himself to bed, and have meals when he wants. Barry however is very much a people person, preferring bipedal company. He thinks he’s the biggest dog in the room. Barry would do best in a single animal home. He would make a wonderful companion and protect you with every ounce of his little self. A loving protector and fine snuggler, Barry’s personality is shining through more and more every day. Always doing something to make his fosters laugh. This little guy needs patience, but he is a good boy well worth the wait. Chipped, snipped, tested, and treated, Barry is ready for his chance at a forever home. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Peaches is a very good girl, but unfortunately needs a new home due to her knack for killing our chickens. She can be timid but is such a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle on the couch and chase squirrels (she’s not caught yet though). She is absolutely wonderful with kids. She likes to chase our cats but hasn’t hurt them. She gets along well with our dog and they love to run the property together. She is potty trained when she’s not afraid of going outside, but sometimes she is too afraid to go out and she will end up peeing in the house. She has a crate that she willingly goes in when we leave and she also loves to hang out there as a safe place. Crate and pillow included.
