We adopted Odie as a puppy from a family member. After me having two babies in the last two years it has become too much for our household to care for him. We have a small home with limited space. It has also become too much of a financial burden. He is a very loving dog and would make a great addition to any family.

Meet Taco — a 12-pound tyrant trapped in a dog’s body. He’s basically the Napoleon of the small dog world: loud, opinionated, and absolutely convinced he runs the show. (Spoiler: he does.) Taco isn’t here to make friends — unless, of course, those friends bring snacks, respect his personal space, and understand that cuddles happen strictly on his terms. Think of him as that one coworker who’s always a little too honest during team meetings, but you can’t help admiring their confidence. He’s the embodiment of “small dog syndrome,” but let’s be real — he’s earned it. Behind that sass is a bold little dude who knows exactly who he is and what he wants (mostly snacks, naps, and control of the couch). Taco’s looking for a human who appreciates sarcasm, can take a little attitude, and won’t crumble under side-eye judgment. In return, you’ll get a dog who’s loyal in his own… complicated way. If you like your pets with a side of personality disorder and spice, congratulations — you’ve met your match.

  Hi, I'm Piñata! You certainly have the luck of the Irish to have found me! I am the best of both worlds, young enough to play like a puppy but old enough to not still be teething like puppy. I have seen the world as a stray pup and still love to travel but I'm ready to put down roots. I am a great dancer! I will do a little happy dance when it's time for a road  trip or a treat!! I love ALL the toys but especially balls. I can entertain myself for hours but I love when someone plays with me! I am all about spa days where I get pampered with a bath and a massage with a warm towel afterwards.  The best thing after a day full of fun? Getting to curling up on the couch with my favorite person and a good movie, of course!  I'm a feisty red head looking for my pot of gold!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Story
Hello everyone, this lovely girl is Eve she was adopted from scpa in 2018 and she’s been a joy to have around. She loves walks, loves to play, is clingy, talkative, smart, and has never shown aggression to children (for context we had her around the time i was in middle school and my siblings were in elementary). However she has shown aggression for other dogs/cats. unfortunately as time passed we simply had schedules that conflicted with taking care of Eve. She needs a lot of care and i would love if we could find someone with a gated backyard, because she loves being outside for long periods of time, and who can have enough time to show her the love she deserves. If you’d think you’re able to give her a new home to cherish please contact me and we can discuss the transferring process. this is a very hard thing to do for us because we love her dearly so i really want to make sure we find a great new owner.

This story is a sad one, This is Chester who is bonded with his brother Shorty. They lost there mom who suddenly passed away from a stroke. In a matter of a week, she was gone. She loved her pups, and she had 5 little guys. These two are a bonded pair. Chester and Shorty. They are Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix. Chester looks like the Chihuahua in the face and Shorty looks like the Jack Russell. They are very good mannered. They do like to run if given a chance probably Jack Russell in them. They are housebroken. They never really spent much time in a crate. There Human mom didn't like it They slept in bed with her. They have been around cats as well. They would do good with a fenced in yard. They are being vetted as well as they will need neutered. The daughter is not able to keep them all as there are 3 other ones who are older plus cats. She can only keep so many. These two pups are lost if the other one is not around them. They must go together. Bark Animal rescue is helping to get these two to safety and to a new furever home so they can not worry anymore. Adoption app and fee for the boys. They must go together as they have always been together. They are approx 5. They are getting ready to be vetted as well. They will also need neutered. They are housebroke. They have been around other pups and Cats. They would do best with a fenced in yard as they like to take off. Jack Russeel coming out in them. They are cross of Jack Russell and CHihua Chester looks more like Chiuah in face and Shorty looks more like Jack Russell in face. They love to sleep with there human mom. They have never had to be put in a cage. THey are very good mannered. They are both looking for there fuever home to spend the rest of there life now.
