He enjoys spending time outside and will happily take care of his business, though he’ll need a watchful eye as he’s still working on perfecting his house manners. Belly bands have been a helpful tool for him in the meantime.This handsome guy has a bit of an independent streak—he likes being outdoors so much that coming back inside can take a little encouragement. Sometimes a tasty treat like lunch meat or cheese does the trick, but not always—Billie Bob likes to keep you guessing!When meeting new people, Billie Bob can be shy and timid at first. He needs a patient, understanding home that will give him the time and space to build trust. Once he warms up, though, his sweet nature truly shines.Billie Bob is crate trained and has done well around other dogs, especially during his time at the vet. While his experience with cats is limited, he didn’t seem bothered by a feline friend wandering nearby. He also appears to do just fine around children, including his current family’s grandchildren.At around 6 years old, this charming mixed-breed boy is ready to find a calm, loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe. Bugsy and Birdie were surrendered to a Kentucky shelter after their owner experienced legal issues, and they are now looking for loving forever homes. Full of energy and personality, Bugsy and Birdie love to play just as much as they enjoy cuddling up with their people. They have been cat tested and will happily give chase—until the cat stands its ground and makes them reconsider their choices. 🙂 Because they are siblings, separate homes would be best for these two to help them continue to thrive independently. Our best guess is 25-30lbs as adults. Bugsy and Birdie are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. This story is a sad one, This is Chester who is bonded with his brother Shorty. They lost there mom who suddenly passed away from a stroke. In a matter of a week, she was gone. She loved her pups, and she had 5 little guys. These two are a bonded pair. Chester and Shorty. They are Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix. Chester looks like the Chihuahua in the face and Shorty looks like the Jack Russell. They are very good mannered. They do like to run if given a chance probably Jack Russell in them. They are housebroken. They never really spent much time in a crate. There Human mom didn't like it They slept in bed with her. They have been around cats as well. They would do good with a fenced in yard. They are being vetted as well as they will need neutered. The daughter is not able to keep them all as there are 3 other ones who are older plus cats. She can only keep so many. These two pups are lost if the other one is not around them. They must go together. Bark Animal rescue is helping to get these two to safety and to a new furever home so they can not worry anymore. Adoption app and fee for the boys. At around 9 years old, Squiggy likes it quiet for his naps so a household with no small children would be an ideal fit. Despite his quiet demeanor, he does find moments for play. Squiggy loves playing with other dogs and adores chasing tennis balls. While he is not known to have boxer in him, he likes to put his dukes up while playing.
