I love playing, inside, outside, with toys, with other dogs or with people I just LOVE to play…sometime I even act a bit goofy. I like to make people laugh and I'm always doing funny things to get attention. Because I'm a "good boy" I get lots of treats for walking on a leash and learning "sit" and "down". All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. FINN is a fun little mixed breed guy looking for a home. He appears to be a jeagle-type (Jack Russel terrier/Beagle) mix, but there could be a few more breeds mixed in. Finn has a sassy terrier-type personality. He loves to play with toys and chase critters in the yard. He's 20 pounds and about 9-10 years old which is technically a senior, but he definitely doesn't act his age. Finn play bows everyone he meets, then immediately demands pets and will cover you in kisses if you let him. He lives with other dogs but can be a little bossy (terrier!). He's housebroken and an excellent passenger in the car. He shows no interest in cats. He needs a home with no small children. He's fine with older respectful kids and adults, but he is not a fan of the preschool/toddler age kids in his current home. If you'd like to meet Finn, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet for an approved adopter. You can meet Finn at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
