This is Maryland. She is a 1-year-old Jack Russell mix. Maryland is great with other dogs and enjoys cuddling up with her person almost as much as she loves chasing squirrels. She would do best with an active owner or at least a multi dog household because she is high energy and needs an outlet. She is a bit shy around new people but warms up fast. She is potty and crate trained.apply today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Robbie came to us with his mommy from a high kill shelter in Texas. They were due to be euthanized and had ringworm, so sadly, no rescues were tagging this pair. Ringworm is very treatible, just not desirable because of the treatment involved. Robbie is ringworm free and ready to find a home. He is vaccinated and has two boosters, neutered and microchipped. Robbie is a typical high energy puppy, full of life and love. He is not housebroken yet, but improving, so his new family will have to work with him. He is also working on leash walking and is making progress with that as well. Robbie is a fun little boy and just wants a family to love and call his own. His adopters need to be in this for the long run and must be prepared to patiently train this little guy as he grows and matures. Every puppy is different and will learn at their own pace. Ace traveled up from Kentucky with a van load of puppies. Is he a puppy? No, but he is a youngster. He is a solid 'little' dog at 29 lbs and 2 years old. His alert confident nature may be attributed to a mix of Australian Cattle dog and maybe Jack Russell. But don't think he's a wild child. This boy is a friendly dude and thrives with routine. His statuesque posture boasts a strong curved tail possibly from a touch a Basenji. Ace is hesitant at first, observing his surroundings, waiting for clear direction. He is so proud, and glows, when he makes his people proud and rewards him with snuggles.Ace is excellent following a set routines. Breakfast, then a nice walk is an ideal start to his day. He has a very consistent 9:30p bedtime and sleeps until morning. He is a lover of all friendly people, children, and other dogs. He is housebroken and excellent on a leash or car ride. Miss Molli came from our local shelter. She is approximately 9 months old and still full of puppy spunk! She was adopted as a companion for my elderly parents, we have had multiple Jack Russel’s in the past but the energy level has taken a toll on my parents now with their age. Molli is the sweeties cuddle bug and loves to sleep cuddled up under the blankets. She is a firecracker for sure and loves to play fetch and is such a good girl and brings the ball back everytime. It breaks our hearts having to consider rehoming her but we know that she is not getting the best life possible and the time she needs to be happy and healthy. She will need some training she is very much a stubborn Jack Russel, but she will catch on. She needs a home that can help her channel all her energy and personality. Another dog for her to play with would be great too! She is such a sweetheart and deserves all the time and love in the world!
