We are hoping the owners follow through with having their dogs fixed so there are no more litters!Chewy was born on 2/24/2025 and his momma is a Jack Russell Terrier and the dad is a border collie. These pups may have other breeds in them as well. We believe Chewy will probably grow to a medium size dog.Chewy is a very sweet, social and cuddly puppy! He is very content taking a snooze on someone's lap...lol. He is learning how to walk on the leash and does great in his crate. The house training is a bit of a challenge, but his foster mom is working with him using talk buttons and hopefully, he will grasp the concept soon. Chewy is being fostered with another large dog and has met other doggy friends of all sizes and has no fear of any of them. He is very food motivated and can be food greedy. His foster mom has been working on his resource guarding which is only with other dogs. He is fine eating with people around him. As for the cats, he is interested and correctly quickly by them and is learning there are boundaries...lol.Chewy loves playing outside and finding sticks he can run around with and chew on. He has also finally learned that toys are fun to play with, too! His favorites are the crinkle toys and balls.Chewy is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She is the only female and the only one with fluffy fur.Leia is a very sweet and social puppy! She is content snuggling for a little while, but when she wants to sleep, she goes off on her own and can find the most random places to snooze...lol. She is definitely more of an independent puppy. Leia is learning how to walk on the leash and does great in her crate. The house training is a bit of a challenge, but her foster mom keeps working a routine and hoping she will grasp the concept soon. Leia is being fostered with another medium size dog, a few cats and children. She loves the children and does great with them. As for the cats, they are her playmates! Keep in mind, Leia is very small and even smaller than some of the cats, so they are perfect for romping with...lol. Leia is very food motivated and can be food greedy. Mercedes is smaller than she looks, she weighs just under 30 lbs. with "shorter" legs. Mercedes is around a year old, she is a very sweet girl with a lot of love to give! She is friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and a curious girl. She's loyal to her people and enjoys the company of other dogs. She actually would do best in a home with a dog companion. She is an active girl that loves to run and play with toys. She was recently integrated into a large group of 5-6 month old puppies for playtime and she did well after a 2 day introduction period. She is now one of the group and they do great together! Mercedes is an all-around great dog and should fit in with most any family. Mercedes is a smart girl; she does well walking on the leash, she has learned to sit for treats, which she is gentle taking from you, and sits when it is time to eat. She is treat motivated and eager to please! Mercedes should fit nicely with most any family. She is not an ideal candidate for an apartment.
