Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hi my name is Roxy! I was taken from a home that could only be entered by first putting on a respirator, and gloves along with my half-sisters Isabell & Smokey. The 3 of us are so thankful to be with 2nd Chance! I am a very sweet gal who loves affection and kisses, I have LOTS of energy, and Smokey and I LOVE to play together. Smokey and I have lived together all of our lives, so for that reason we must be adopted together. We require a fenced yard.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!September 23, 2023, 12:03 am

Now Danny is an old dude and he could stay at the ranch HOWEVER Danny does not like other fur friends :( He said he wants a human all of his own and he doesn't want to share them!! He would like someone who lives a 'quiet' lifestyle, doesn't have a lot of those 'little humans' who want to zoom all over the place and touch him!!If you would like a quiet guy that just wants his own human than Danny is PERFECT!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Story
Hey y’all, I’m Ellie, a 2yr old Jack Russell Terrier. I love hoomans, especially getting to snuggle up on the sofa or bed together. I love cats, goats and horses so much that I chase them. Im so good at jumping fences I should be a hurdle racer! But I only do it if I’m alone or see something on the other side that’s looks fun. Im okay with other dogs, and still learning it’s okay for them to be around when I’m eating or have a bone. I had 3 puppies, and they’ve all gone to their homes and now I’d like a home; can you help??
