Story
This doggy goes by Shoto (show tow). He is a rescue that prefers to be the only dog in the house. Weighing in at 56 pounds he is a sassy lazy boy who loves to lay out in the sun (and snow) and watch the birds fly by. He is a pandemic pup so he needs a home where someone will always be there to keep him from getting lonely. He is currently 4 years old (his birthday is December 18). Shoto is looking for a big fenced in backyard so he can lay in the best sun spots. He loves cuddles and will work hard for treats (sit, stay, kiss, paw, other paw). He does not respond well to being moved in his sleep. He’s comfortable sleeping indoors and outdoors. He is a huge shedder, but enjoys getting brushed.

Story
Soldam has a strong desire to please and has an active, smart, and assertive personality. 😊 Good with women: yes Good with men: yes Good with kids: yes Good with other dogs: yes; when she meets other dogs, she greets them carefully. Good with cats: no; has never lived with one. Sometimes chases birds and cats outside, but only for about 1 minute. House trained: yes Crate trained: not yet Energy level: calm at home Can be handled/touched: She loves physical affection. Barker: yes; barks to protect the house, especially when someone knocks at the door. Flight risk: no problem Food aggressive: no Current food: dry feed Walks on leash: very good; she remembers the time for a walk and loves to go out. Leash reactive to people or dogs: excellent Rides well in car: yes Destructive: no Needs a home with a yard: yes Needs a home with another dog: She is curious about other dogs but can be jealous. She wants a lot of love. In the foster homes, there were other dogs. Soldam has had limited outdoor activity due to heartworm treatment. She was advised not to get too excited, so in the two months of fostering, she only went for walks near home and didn't go to the exercise grounds. Previously, she visited the exercise area. She is a bit scared of being picked up by people but does not struggle and stays still. She doesn’t particularly like having her feet washed or bathing but waits patiently. Soldam is active, seeks love, and is very curious but understands well when not allowed to do something. When bored, she enjoys chewing on toys. She barks when there are noises outside or when other dogs bark. She has the advantage of shedding very little fur.
