Aramis is a gorgeous and friendly mix? Doodle? Wirehaired Pointer?? At this point your guess is as good as ours! Either way, this beautiful girl will be making her way to Colorado on 9/23.  Aramis was surrendered with her (also gorgeous and friendly) siblings in Houston after their family was deported. We don't know too much else about their past other than that they arrived in need of a good groom and some TLC. Aramis is Heartworm Positive. This is a treatable illness but requires Aramis to stay in foster for the duration of treatment (approximately 12 weeks) All expenses for fostering, including the cost of her treatment and all supplies, are covered by our resuce. What Aramais needs now is a foster to help take care of her through her journey! If you are interested in adopting Aramis, you can apply to foster with the intention of adopting. Then, once she is Heartworm free and can be spayed, you can officially adopt! If you are interested in this route, or just interested in fostering, please apply!  ##2843791##

Meet Duke! Duke is a 7-year-old (according to his papers.... but we don't believe it!), 37 pound boy who is ready to show someone what a wonderful companion he can be. Duke came to us as part of a neglect case, but despite his difficult past, he is an incredibly sweet and friendly guy. He walks beautifully on leash, enjoys meeting people, and has been wonderful with other dogs. He has such an easygoing, lovable personality and seems happy to be around his people and take in all the good things life has to offer. Duke would love a cozy place to land where he can relax, feel safe, and be spoiled a little. If you have room for this sweet senior-ish gentleman for a few days, he would love to meet you! ##2857585##

Ginger is the biological sister to Tank. They have been together their whole lives. We would love for them to go together if possible but understand if 2 is more than what you are looking for. Our dogs are loving, well-behaved Goldendoodles who have been a cherished part of our family. They are wonderful with people and would make excellent family dogs. Both dogs know their commands, are eager to please, and respond very well to a confident owner who provides loving leadership and structure. Meet Spinner  (and no, we don't get the name either) Surrendered to the shelter with this name already attached, and we have SO many questions. Does he spin? No. Chase his tail like a top? No. Turn the yard into a racetrack? Also no. Somebody, please explain yourselves.  Here's what we DO know: Spinner is a whopping 75+ lb of pure love, 6 years old, neutered, and handsome as all get out. He's billed as a doodle-ish mix, but give this guy a haircut and he could pass for a mini Irish Wolfhound.  The Spinner Rundown:  Loves car rides  Totally fine home alone while you run errands  Comes to the gym with his foster and just... vibes, soaking up all the attention  Cat-approved — the foster home's resident cat is his ride-or-die bestie The catch: Spinner does best as an only dog. He's picky about his fellow woof-woofs — didn't love sharing space with the foster home's two very submissive dogs (one a 100+ lb actual Irish Wolfhound, the other a Great Pyr/Lab mix).
