Story
-Personality: Gentle, mellow, sensitive & curious-Dog-friendly: Yes — he loves other dogs!-Let’s you see take the lead in walks, very compliant-Potty trained-Crate trained, but can be an escape artist when left alone during the day. Prefers crates that he can see out of (wire) with a bed and blanket. -Friendly with children, might prefer older children that can respect his space-Very food motivated, great for positive reinforcement, but make sure all other food is out of reach This sweet doodle mix is a gentle, sensitive soul who is learning that people can be safe and kind. He can be scared and nervous in new situations, but even when he’s unsure, he still wants to be part of what’s happening. Rather than hiding away, he prefers to be in the same room with everyone, quietly watching with curiosity. He absolutely loves other dogs. He quickly bonded with our fellow doodle mix and follows her everywhere, looking to her for companionship and confidence. A friendly, confident dog in his future home could be a wonderful role model for him. With people, he needs a little patience. It took him a day or two before he felt comfortable approaching to sniff my hand, and he’s already beginning to occasionally come over on his own for pets. Every small step feels like his way of saying, “I think I can trust you.” He’s not a dog who will immediately run up to strangers asking to play. Instead, he’ll observe from a comfortable distance and gradually work up the courage to interact. He has shown no aggression and has a naturally mellow demeanor. When he becomes overwhelmed, his response is to shut down rather than act out, so having a safe, quiet space where he can decompress is important. His ideal home He would thrive with someone who understands that trust doesn’t have to happen overnight. He needs a home willing to give him time, patience, consistency, and space, allowing him to approach people at his own pace rather than pushing interactions. A home with a friendly, confident dog could be especially wonderful for him. He clearly finds comfort and happiness in canine companionship and seems to learn from watching another dog navigate the world. He’s still showing us who he is. Underneath the nervousness is a sweet, curious young dog who wants connection — he’s just figuring out how to be brave enough to ask for it. For the right person or family, watching his confidence grow and earning his trust is going to be incredibly rewarding.  ##2819983##

Story
Paraguay (female) and Jordan (male) are 2 young puppies that love each other and everyone else, and the whole world besides.  Every day, they wake up excited about anything!  They want nothing more than to give you kisses, be petted and talked to, enjoy a snack, a nap, a shoe, sniffing in the yard, and playing together. Their energy and sweet natures will melt your heart.  There are hardly any differences in personality and only a slight visual difference between the two: Paraguay, the female sibling, has slight brindling on her muzzle and paws.  Paraguay also has wiry fur,  and her brother, Jordan, has 2 white markings on his chest and back paws.  Jordan’s fur is a mix of his sisters’ and some soft puppy fuzz with a little bit of wire. They are almost fully housetrained, do not soil their kennel overnight, are learning to walk on leashes, and so want to please their person.  They get along with the other dogs in the house as well as the cat and would make a great companion or family pet for someone who will shower them with affection and give them lots of outdoor walks/playtime so they can get their wiggles out!  Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375 August 27, 2026, 2:17 pm

Story
Roxy is a 5-month-old (est bd 3/19/2026 lab/super mutt mix. Roxy is a healthy, happy, adventurous, and playful puppy and is absolutely enamored with her foster sister (a 2-year-old goldendoodle), loves to cuddle with her foster mom and dad, and is happy to meet everyone who crosses her path.  Every day is full of adventure and sunlight since entering rescue, and she has settled into her new role as a pampered, carefree puppy. She is a quick learner and is well on her way to mastering retrieving, making ready eye contact, and is starting to alert when she needs to go out to potty.     Roxy would love to be in a home with another dog (or twelve, lol) but would also thrive as the only dog in the home as long as there are frequent play dates with other dogs.  Roxy is very much a puppy and is learning the ins and outs of the human language, including "outside", "walks", "chew on this, not that", etc. Roxy's perfect family would be one that continues her training, incorporates her into their daily walks and adventures, and would consider dog sports as this girl is SMART and focused! Roxy is going to bond fast and hard with the lucky family that chooses her to join their life for life! She is a very active puppy; no small children, she can be too full of puppy energy!   Roxy is spayed, up to date on shots, and ready to melt hearts everywhere she goes. Story
Chi Chi - Formerly Chai It didn't take long to realize this little girl was way too spunky to be named for a calm cup of tea. So, Chai became Chi Chi - a name that matches her big personality (and those even bigger ears). At just  5 months old, Chi Chi is equal parts cuddle bug, comedian, and tiny chaos coordinator. Those spectacular bat ears seem to have a direct connection to every treat bag within a three-mile radius. She may still be a little shy, but she's also  a brave little firecracker who's ready to explore everything. She loves people and dogs,  enjoys toys, is learning that leashes lead to adventures, and is highly motivated by snacks - which makes training a whole lot easier. When the zoomies are over, Chi Chi is happiest curled up close you for a nap. She's sweet, affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and guaranteed to make you smile every single day. If you're looking for a puppy with a heart of gold, a playful spirit, and ears that deserve their own ZIP code, Chi Chi is ready to steal yours. Don't wait — apply today!  Adoption fee: $375 Apply at eapl.comAugust 27, 2026, 2:17 pm
