Story
I got Ruth from Denver Animal Shelter in August of 2025. She was very friendly and wanted to go with me. I very much want to keep her. I was advised that she had separation anxiety. She definitely does. Ruth does not like when you leave her at home and panics. She loves being outside, loves riding in cars and adores the dog park. Ruth is hyper aware of other dogs and people walking by. She growls and barks pretty aggressively. She will chase if given the chance but has not bitten anyone. Ruth stays in the yard when the gate is shut however. Ruth is very strong and requires a handler who is ready to support better behavior for her protection and others. Sadly, Ruth does seem to know how to play, but she loves puzzles especially if there is a treat involved. She loves to sleep and cuddle with people. She wants to be included in everything. Ruth is a sweet dog with a past, and deserves better.

This happy little guy absolutely loves to play and spends most of his day bouncing around with his foster siblings, chasing balls, wrestling, and exploring toys. Meeps is a smart puppy who already enjoys Level 3 puzzle toys and loves rooting around in the ball pit. When he gets excited, he hops around like a tiny baby kangaroo — it’s as adorable as it sounds. Once he’s finished playing, Meeps enjoys tummy rubs and quick cuddle sessions before heading off for his next adventure. He is doing well with potty training and regularly seeks out potty pads when he needs to go. Meeps thrives with other playful dogs and must have a canine companion in his forever home. He would do best in a family that enjoys engaging with their dog daily through play, enrichment, and fun activities.
