Oreo was placed with me as an emergency foster on 6/8. His owner was unable to take care of him. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful INSIDE. He is very reactive (lunges, pulls, barks) to other dogs, cars, bikes, many things we come across on walks in my neighborhood. Because of this, it is challenging to continue fostering him and we are in need of a new home ASAP. I live in an apartment and rely on walks and dog parks to exercise my own dog. He would do very well in a home with even a small yard. He and my dog tolerate each other, but Oreo has shown food guarding behaviors. Because of this, a home without another dog is the best situation. He is unfortunately intact, and neutering him could potentially help a lot of the difficult behaviors. He is approximately 4 years old. I plan to take him for vaccinations soon, as I doubt he is up-to-date. He came to me heavily matted, and enjoyed being groomed. I know with the right home, he will be a cherished family member.
