Story
Winston is a 4 year old labradoodle. He is 70 pounds and very hyper. We are adopting out because he is still very hyper and due to changing work schedules and active kids. We cannot keep up with his needs. He needs continuous grooming and needs walked a few times a day. Unfortunately we just cannot keep up. He does still jump and isn’t the best with a leash, especially with new people. But once he gets to know you he does calm down. He is a very good listener and I think very trainable. He needs a home where he can get more attention. He seems to do okay with other dogs. And he’s never truly been around cats so I am unsure. He has been an only dog but another dog might do him some good. He is good with my kids, but he is a jumper and a puller so kids are often afraid of him. He is alittle overweight, and does shed. If grooming is kept up, he is brushed often and bathed. His shedding is less.

Story
Daisy is almost 5 years old. She is good with bigger dogs as long as they are not ball dogs. She gets super hyper focused on balls and she wants people to throw them all the time. If someone takes her ball, she gets very upset and barks.

Story
Archie is a 45lb, 4 year old handsome, athletic Labradoodle who’s happiest when he’s running, playing fetch, or out exploring with his favorite people. This affectionate guy bonds closely once he knows you, and loves belly rubs, ear scratches, and being part of the action. Archie is known for his adorable “hug” when you kneel down—he’ll gently put his paws on your shoulders and expect a good back rub in return! He’s also got a curious streak and loves to be involved, whether that’s watching the wildlife outside, “helping” with household projects, or simply keeping tabs on his people. We’re looking for the perfect home for Archie; one that can offer him consistency, a structured environment, and ongoing training. He’s incredibly smart, but suffers from some anxiety -- especially around meeting new people & dogs. For this reason, we are looking for an adult only home for Archie. While Archie is currently cohabitating with other dogs, we know he has the potential to grow in sociability with the right environment and ongoing force free training support, but we would also prefer he get to be the only dog in his home so he can soak up all the attention he loves. Archie is muzzle trained for outings for additional safety and it's important that his adoptive family continue with that until under the guidance of a certified trainer. Archie currently exhibits some stranger danger on initial meetings, so his forever family will need to commit to a few short meet-and-greets before bringing him home. We know Archie is as cute as they come, but please (!!) do not ask for a meet and greet if you are not seriously considering adoption as this is not in Archie's best interest at this time and his current caretaker will need to commute for each visit (car rides are not Archie's favorite either!). If you are not sure if Archie’s the right fit for you, please give us a call at Farfel's Rescue (303-443-7711) and ask for Rock to discuss. Archie is up to date on his vetting and vaccinations, and he is also neutered. An adoption application can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. PLEASE NOTE If you're truly interested in adopting Archie, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
