What we know: Litter of three transferred from Littlefield Pet Haven in Texas. The puppies were reportedly being kept outdoors with two adult dogs prior to intake; the adult dogs were transferred to another rescue. Puppies were aged approximately 3–4 months old at the time of intake, altered, and up to date on vaccinations prior to arrival. Cleared of screwworm concerns prior to transport. From the foster: It’s gonna take a little bit for Athos to grow into the dignity of his name! Right now he’s a lovable wiggle tail whose favorite trick is hiding toys and treats so he doesn’t have to share with his sister. In true Musketeer style he is bold and adventurous, outgoing with both people and other dogs, and has boundless enthusiasm for EVERYTHING. Athos’s enthusiasm doesn’t include audio, however. He is one of the quietest pups I’ve ever met. Athos is looking for a home with lots of action, adventure, and romance where he can grow into the swashbuckling hero he was always meant to be.
