Due to their size, CPR was unable to intake the full litter at once - two siblings were taken in two weeks prior. One puppy from the litter was adopted in Texas prior to transfer. Muffin is learning about the world one careful step at a time, and while new sights and sounds can make her pause, her heart always leads her toward connection. This sweet girl needs a caring environment where patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement guide her confidence to bloom. Muffin is content curling up with her human and gently resting her head on a knee as if to say she trusts you completely. When the mood is right, she also shows a curious, puppy playful side, trotting around with a wag that grows stronger each day. Muffin previously lived with other dogs and she may do well with a dog friend to help her build some confidence. She does well with kids who know she needs a little space to be comfortable. Big loud noises and fast movements can be scary! Muffin needs a family who celebrates small victories, because every new experience is a big accomplishment for her.
