Hi, my name is Gryffin! I turned 5 in June. I'm the type to enjoy the moment. One of my favorite hobbies is going to the dog park. In the summer time, I love to go swimming. As soon as the season changes, I'm the first one to stick my nose right in the snow pile. I'm pretty smart too. I know a lot of commands, I even word buttons for a while. Eager to learn and practice more, especially if you have a tasty treat. Also do well off-leash because I'm a good boy. I have two brothers, both cats. We all grew up together so it's been cool. I would love more space to play. Having a dog sibling would be neat too, as long as we got along. I get along pretty well with most dogs. Being a solo dog is just as good too. 0825102 - Meet Amber! Amber is an almost 7-year-old miniature poodle who’s ready to start her new life as someone’s beloved companion. She came to us from a breeder after retiring from having puppies and is now discovering what it means to be part of a loving family. After spending much of her life in a kennel, everyday things like grass and leashes are still new to her, but she’s making steady progress in her foster home. Amber has recently learned the joy of playing fetch with her stuffed animals and is starting to show her fun, affectionate personality. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up, she loves curling up next to her foster mom on the couch for snuggles. Like many dogs from similar backgrounds, Amber is still working on her house training. With a consistent routine and patient guidance, she’s doing very well and rarely has accidents when kept on schedule. Amber gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has had a dental cleaning — she’s all set for her forever home! She’s 100% hungry that’s for sure and was highly treat motivated. She gave me kisses and let me put a hat on her without any complaints. She was ready to go see her babies when it was time for her to go back in even though they all ran to greet her by trying to eat immediately. She really is a great mama. The puppies were all cuddled napping when we walked up to the kennel and smelled her immediately.
