Widget Neutered Male 1 year old 32 lbs Breed Guess: Labradoodle Widget and Wizard were brought to a very rural animal control with their three other siblings and these poor babies were just so sad and scared. We fell in love instantly and knew we had to rescue all five of them STAT. They are kind to their core and just look to you for love and encouragement. As soon as you talk sweetly to them and let them know they’re good pups, they get the silliest, most wiggly bodies and come to you for all the pets and snuggles! They are wonderful with people and other animals and don’t seem to have a mean bone in their bodies. They will absolutely thrive in love-filled homes with families who can help build their confidence, discover the new world around them, learn basic training, and love them endlessly. They would do great with another dog friend in the home and they’ve always been surrounded by other dogs.

Her person became very overwhelmed with the number of animals he had, and Muppet, Murphy and their siblings found themselves at a rural animal control. Muppet is an absolute dream - she LOVES children and is so well-mannered with them! She’s a fun combination of super playful, but also mellows out beautifully for love and snuggles. Muppet temperament tested well with people and other dogs! She is learning to walk nicely on leash, is in off-leash playgroups with other pups, and is doing a good job of going potty outside. She will be an outstanding family pet!

Charlie – Large, labradoodle, 2 year old male Charlie (70 pounds) is a handsome and affectionate dude who is always excited to meet new people! This guy has it all! He is potty trained, knows commands, walks amazing on a leash, and instead of barking at new people, he simply walks up to them with tail wagging in hopes of a good back and butt rub. Charlie loves having other pups (and kiddos) to play with and will need a home with a fenced in yard so he can stretch those long legs and run! Charlie is current on his vaccines and will be neutered this week. He is currently being fostered in Woodstock, IL and has an adoption fee of $600. Maggie is an adorable White Labrador Retriever estimated to be 4 years old. She’s a petite girl weighing just 35 lbs. Maggie is a very affectionate girl and absolutely loves being with people. She is ok with dogs but can be a bit selective; she does not like dogs who are high-energy and in her face. Likewise, she does not enjoy the company of small children who insist on playing with her, pull her tail and ears, or tease her. Maggie would be fine with older children (i.e., teenagers) who have learned to respect dogs. Because she has a high prey drive, cats would not want to be around her. An ideal home for Maggie offers a calm environment with plenty of time, attention, and affection to provide to her. Maggie would do fine as an only dog, but a calm, possibly older dog would make a great companion for her and vice versa. A secure, fenced yard would be ideal, so Maggie could enjoy running, exploring, and lounging in the sun. Maggie is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped. Comet is an adorable puppy, calm and a real sweetheart. He is thought to be a Black Lab Mix. His estimated date of birth is May 18th, 2023. At 5 months, Comet weighs 26lbs; his adult weight is not known. It is most important to note that we do not know just how big Comet will become as an adult…his new family must be willing to accept him, no matter what his adult size! Comet is very smart, a quick learner, very alert and playful, but overall pretty calm for a young boy!! This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. When joining our rescue program, Comet appeared happy, calm & gentle, very friendly, and eager to move on to a better life!! He’s now ready to move along to a forever home of his own! Comet is very sociable, playful, and is great with dogs. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Comet is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Comet to be his best self! A secure fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Comet is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. His neuter is included in his adoption fee. Kenya is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Black Lab Mix. She’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At about 5 months, Kenya weighs 25 lbs.; she's a bit short and stocky! It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 45 lbs. This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. She is thought to have been born around March 10th of this year. When joining our rescue program, Kenya appeared happy, calm & gentle, very friendly, and eager to move on to a better life!! Kenya is very sociable, playful, and is great with dogs. She may be a bit too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Kenya is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Kenya to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Kenya is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking).
