Story
With a heavy heart, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our dog, Cubby. Cubby was born on January 27, 2023, and we’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old. Since bringing him home, our family has grown by two more children, and our schedules have become much busier than we ever anticipated. As much as we love him, we feel he deserves more time and attention than we’re currently able to give. Cubby is a very chill, laid-back dog who loves being around his family. He does great with kids and is happiest lounging nearby and just being part of the action. He’s fully potty trained and is used to going outside three times a day. He does well with other dogs, though he can be a little skittish around strangers at first. We currently live in a townhouse without a yard, so a home with a fenced yard or more space would likely make him very happy. We truly want to find the right fit for him. Widget Neutered Male 1 year old 32 lbs Breed Guess: Labradoodle Widget and Wizard were brought to a very rural animal control with their three other siblings and these poor babies were just so sad and scared. We fell in love instantly and knew we had to rescue all five of them STAT. They are kind to their core and just look to you for love and encouragement. As soon as you talk sweetly to them and let them know they’re good pups, they get the silliest, most wiggly bodies and come to you for all the pets and snuggles! They are wonderful with people and other animals and don’t seem to have a mean bone in their bodies. They will absolutely thrive in love-filled homes with families who can help build their confidence, discover the new world around them, learn basic training, and love them endlessly. They would do great with another dog friend in the home and they’ve always been surrounded by other dogs.

Winston is a gentle, shy soul with the softest eyes and the sweetest heart.  He absolutely loves to cuddle, especially with his foster brothers, and can often be found snuggled up with them on the couch or stretched out in a sunny spot. He’s a big fan of naps, windows, and standing guard over the neighborhood from his favorite lookout spot (with his backup snuggle squad, of course). Winston would do best in a home with another dog—he loves to wrestle, play, and cuddle with his canine friends and really thrives with a buddy by his side. Winston is fully potty trained and has done wonderfully settling into a routine in his foster home. He’s shy at first, but very curious and eager to be loved. I’m Dolly and I came from Tennessee so I’m named for Dolly Parton. I’m sure she would be flattered.  I’m a normal puppy doing what normal puppies do. I can get into mischief but I am full of love and my favorite place is as close to you as I can get. I do stay in a crate at night so my foster dad can sleep.  I have lots of other dogs in my foster home to play with including my brother. Some are pretty old and I can be a bit annoying sometimes but they are pretty tolerant and we get along great.  This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. Are you looking for a young dog who is already through all that crazy puppy stuff? Then this guy could be the perfect pup for you! Best part, he is smart enough, you can pick your own name for him and he will be sure to learn it quickly! For now, his ARF name is Brown Gravy. Brown Gravy, aka Gravy Boy, aka The Gravy Train, aka just plain ole Gravy is a smart playful guy! This fella loves his human and enjoys laying with his head in your lap. He is good with children and needs to be the only dog in the home. Gravy is looking for a home with a 6' fence to give him time to enjoy the outdoors. He likes to watch flocks of geese as they fly in their “V” across the sky and is curious enough with his nose to sniff out an opossum – and although he was close enough to make the opossum a chew toy – all he did was sniff the new fuzzy creature. He is crate trained and housebroken. Gravy knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, release) and is eager to learn…..as long as there are treats involved! He is leash trained to walk on the left and is a great running buddy if that is your thing. This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housetrained and will be available after being neutered on January 22nd.
