We are declaring winter over by having an entire flower garden of pups now in our care. Meet the flower litter pups!   These blossoming blooms are approximately 15 weeks old and range between 12-15lbs! Mom is guessed to be a Feist mix an Dad looks to be a silver Lab mix (photo's attached for reference). Foster home update: Lilac is a loving, very active girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs help knowing what is appropriate "play" - she just gets so excited and does not realize.  She is learning to accept being crated, but will protest loudly, but settles once she knows you have left, so for that reason, she will not be suited for apartments, condominiums or townhomes.  With her exuberance, she would do best in a home with older children, so she does not accidentally bump into them. She is making progress in her foster home, but will definitely benefit from obedience training.  We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. This hunk with a beautiful shiny coat has arrived and is looking for his forever home! Carl is just under a year old and weighs about 80-85lbs! Foster home update:   Carl is a wonderful, young dog. While he has typical young pup energy, he also has a laid back side. He is great with other dogs, matching his play to each of his foster home's three resident dogs' unique styles. He can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but that is short lived and soon he will be looking for love and cuddles. He's happy to play fetch or entertain himself with zoomies in the yard or just watch the world go by out a window. He never marks and has even learned to potty squat like his foster sisters. He does have some prey drive, so cats are probably a no go for Carl. He knows several basic commands which he learned through the Paws for Life prison inmate training program in California before coming to Magnificent Mutts. He is fully crate and house trained. Carl will make a great addition for a family with or without another dog. Izzy (Yellow) and Ozzy (Black) were both adopted from Mag Mutts (Ozzy in Oct 2022 and Izzy in Feb 2023 - so they are not siblings).  Sadly, their Adopter passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving them without a home as other family members were not in a position to take both in. Mag Mutts has accepted them back and are looking for a forever home for them to stay together.  They will both be turning 4 years old in a few months and are said to be housebroken and friendly.  Foster home update: Mag Mutts is lucky to have a foster family that has picked them both up and will be providing an update as they get settled in.    We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
